Haptic (sp?) touch in new iPhone firmware?

Can you feel it? Hmmm. Wonder what this could suggest!!
18" 16:9 Aluminium MacBook Pro with 1920x1080 resolution for $2599.
How do you sell this to those who are currently considering the 17" 1920x1200 model? Fewer pixels in a larger case?

It definitely says "Mac OS X tablet" to me. But it's totally fake if you ask me (and many posters in that thread).brinkjj2 said:Hey everyone,

That's definitely a problem. Apple did transition from 15.2" 1440·960 to 15.4" 1440·900 with the first MacBook Pro, but then at least there was a 17" 1680·1050 notebook. How do you sell this to those who are currently considering the 17" 1920x1200 model? Fewer pixels in a larger case?

Yeah. The font doesn't look right.Because of the used font? It is some sort of Helvetica or Arial, rather than Myriad... eh, it is fake.

That's what I was thinking...It's all very well giving people a larger screen but using the same/less pixels in a larger screen will make everything look bigger and therefore give less work space.
I can't see this happening on pro laptops to be honest.
Yup. Until the 17" MacBook Pro gets 2560*1440 that is.Same kind of transition of the 15" PowerBook G4 to 15" MacBook Pro (from 1440x960 to 1440x900). I guess we have to just live with it.
Same here, just because it took Apple over 5 years after the first widescreen PowerBook G4 to transition widescreen to the iBook/MacBook.I cant see it on the non pro laptops.

I do mean the 18" MacBook Pro. And I don't think there's such a panel, but I'm sure there will be one sometime in the future.Does such panel even exists right now? Also, do not you mean the 18" MacBook Pro?

It's gunna hurt when reality hits as no invitations exist this Tuesday.
When Tuesday rolls around and there's nothing, not even a new rumor, it's gunna hurt.
