How does inverting prove it? Also, Apple rarely uses an ellipsis in their ads (exception on 'One More Thing...')

was thinking. Someone else pointed this out to, but could this banner bring clues to whats in store? I mean one of the icons says "Tues 9" was wondering if any other clues you guys may find..

It makes it stand out more and the colors turn to a negative more like fell and more easy to spot mistakes..

idk man but all I know is you can put both in a sentence.
Take another look and give it a little touch.

Both mean something perhaps? Glass track pads with touch sensitive controls? (meaning "give it a little touch" to activate the controls )

You know, I really think Apple has better things to do than dropping press meeting dates into their promo images. Like 3G reception, get on that!

This isnt a promo. This is a "invite" to an apple event. If it were an promo it would be bigger and feature something a bit different...

I'm assuming he was talking about the big thing that says mobile me (which is a promo) not the invites that people are currently wondering if they are real

speaking of which, is there a reason that the tops of each of the "invites" are rounded off and the bottom coners are sharp corners

"little touch?"

first thing I thought when seeing that first possible invite was:

touch screen nano...

I'm pretty impressed with these but who knows until it actually happens.

I know they are meant for separate things, 1st one iPods, and 2nd one macbooks/pros or maybe MacBook touch possibly. Heres what I think though, even though they both are for different products, I'm also thinking the wording could be combined to hint at glass trackpads with screens on the laptops. First you "give it a little touch, then you "take another look" at the glass trackpad/screen. What do I know though?

Maybe famous last words, but...

I think these are fake. Maybe it's me, but the last line says "RSVP to rsvp...". I think this is quite bad grammar and I would be very surprised if apple were to have used it. I would have expected a "RSVP: to rsvp" or "RSVP - to rsvp". And releasing the invite on a weekend? And it's not on the apple website... And...

Same story on this oldie. :p

Didn't notice that before. That doesn't bode well for it being authentic unless maybe the original invites are portrait (and the actual bottom is rounded) and someone edited the images to post more easily.

Isn't that just the e-mail address? "RSVP to rsvp_media@apple.com"

They aren't rounded because probably on the actual invite a map is attached like on the shuffle invite I posted above. I'm not saying I believe the invites, I'm just saying that's probably why.

Now that I think about it, it might make them MORE believable with the lack of rounded bottom...

as noted above its an e-mail. all web address/e-mails need to be lower case. Not quite bad grammer at all. Whos to say it came out on a weekend? Whos to say it came out last week and it finally just surfaced this weekend? Doesnt need to be on the apple website. The "public" isnt ready. though in reality they are..

or they were different this time around or never got the rounded edges shown in the copier?

Try to be a bit more open minded.

There are so many very sceptical and afraid of change people here.

I, for one reason, am very excited to see what Apple releases.

Going back to the mobileme banner; when I zoomed in, I'm pretty sure the date on the iPhone is 9 June 2009 - the next Tuesday the 9th. Probably nothing - maybe iPhone updates. Or is it next years WWDC??

Agreed. I'm always ready for new stuff.

I work at mcdoanlds and Come late next month we are getting rid of our tilimook ice cream and getting a smoothie machine to go with our espresso machine and I know for a fact we will have cutmors complaining just like when we got rid of the dip and dots. Same goes fro next year when a change will happen to the global menu. many people will complain.

looks like MONDAY June 9 2008 to me

Since we can assume the first invitation is for the iPod and the second for the Macs (see pictures' name), I think it simply give a hint for the new iPod Touch or an new iPod Touch Nano (Give it a "little" "touch") and updated Macbook/MBP/MBA cases (see the 3 ray of lights, Take another "look").

hell i'm all for new stuff. i've been ready for the new macbook pros since my laptop got stolen 3 months ago. i'd just like some actual 100% confirmation rather than all these rumors
