Face ID is more pro than space black
Some time ago when they were interviewed, Craig said TouchID is great on the Mac because "your finger is right there" -- as if your FACE is not. Also for many people, like me, my finger is not "right there" because I mostly use mine as a desktop and the TouchID button is usually at least 3 feet away.

As you can see the M3 still is limited to 24 GB Ram

Has Apple always referred to the capabilities of the base products (iMac, 14 inch M3 MBP) as being for "exploring hobbies" vs the M3 Pro/Max MBPs being for Pros? Or are they using new marketing terms
They have always don’t this… despite most Pros… like the professor, or the executive never needing any of this processing power.

It’s just business sense for them. It’s engineers, developers, content creators and graphics/video disciplines that require all that processing power

Yup, I still love my October 2021 16” MacBook Pro M1 Max maxed out except 32GB of RAM.
I think I’ll keep this thing for at least 5 more years. Might replace the battery though.
That's a great machine. RAM bumps are usually a good (if overpriced) investment. 32GB is plenty. I still use my 2015 even though I bought an M2 Max. It just works.
