I still think a game console will be announced. It fits too well with the VR headset, raytracing on the their APUs, the TVOS UI refresh, and the rumors of new Macs vs new iPads distraction.

Hopefully they play up the wireless mouse since everyone is talking about it (and they don't keep the charge port on the bottom).

Btw, something I’ve noticed is that they usually talk about their Pro products in a night-time setting in their pre-recorded videos — examples are iPhone Pros which have usually been presented in this manner. So I can see a theme that Apple follows where “Pro” products are connected to the night.
