The best case scenario for me is the release of the iMac Pro, it won't happen but nice to think about.

I feel like Apple only takes its store "down" prior to launch so people won't buy something that is getting replaced later that day, and then throw a fit after the new product is announced

The buzz around the M3 has me emerging from the woodwork. If the rumors hold, we’re on the cusp of a new era for the MacBook Pro 16”. It might finally be time to upgrade my trusty 2019 i9. Anticipation is high!

Btw, something I’ve noticed is that they usually talk about their Pro products in a night-time setting in their pre-recorded videos — examples are iPhone Pros which have usually been presented in this manner. So I can see a theme that Apple follows where “Pro” products are connected to the night.
If Apple was in the plumbing business, we'd get a Pro duct.

At least this is interesting. No real rumors beforehand, dropped out of nowhere. I'll actually look at this one. I haven't bothered at all with the last three years of presentations, usually just check back here a day or two later to see if anything unexpected happened... which never does.

ETA: nice to have it broadcast when the people that actually work, have time to listen in.

I don't like these late day reveals as today as been hell staring at the clock all day. I hope AAPL never do this again.

It's great for us on the other side of the world who rarely get to see these live events because they're in the middle of the night.

With the largest proportion of Apple's sales being outside of the USA, I think it's time they did more events at different times to include different audiences. It would give more people the opportunity to watch live.

I loved the live in person events we used to have in the old days. More excitement etc I just happened to be checking the MacRumors site as I was busy all day with work and realized it was the announcement day today

At least now I can legitimately play the "praying hands" and "best yet.." drinking game. You drink whenever you see time with the praying hands when speaking, 🙏 or someone says "best yet"...
