Apple Event Plans: New Products Coming in 2025

Hah, even iOS devices are going to be relegated to the sidelines like the Mac in favor of the new hotness: boring services revenue. Please Apple, don't become a boring company. Leave that to Elon Musk.
[doublepost=1553352999][/doublepost]Watch bands, right on TV mush, speed bumps and copy cat services are what apple is all about now. Apple is catering to the wealthy fashion slimers and few others. They are in horrible decline and should be crushed by the same innovative geeks that made apple great in the first place. But now apple has the money to suppress new ideas so that may not happen. Yeah for nicey nice Cookie Boy.

It's March. Are you for real?

"It's 10am. Mom promised me a hamburger today. Where is it?"

The last update WAS 2013. I believe the Mac Pro community has been incredibly patient. Can any other I-device community say the same? Apple needs to be hammered HARD for its neglect, it is inexcusable. So, "where's the beef" - Sorry, could not help myself there.

Everyone (who cares, that is) is well aware of the situation—including Apple, who said they would be launching a new Mac Pro platform this year.

There’s no reason to “hammer” on anything at this point. It’s March, not December. Just screaming, “Where’s my Mac Pro” in every thread accomplishes nothing except to make oneself look like an entitled *******.

I was really hoping for reduced iCloud costs or a decent amount like 2tb to be bundled with iTunes or the upcoming tv subs. Maybe buy an appletv, get a years worth of Apple TV subs plus xtb of iCloud.

Apple's never been competitive in the services area. Seeing them divert apparently large resources to all the new services makes me wonder about their focus going forward. My preference would be to focus on hardware and OS, YMMV.

They brought in almost $11 billion in service revenue the last quarter. In comparison, Microsoft entire revenue was $29 billions.

We will never see such with Tim "Me Too" Cook at the helm. Cook is a loser.

Two of the products Steve Jobs was most proud of: iPod Hifi and iPad.
He believed in a post-PC world where PCs and Macs would be used only by a minority.

Mon, March 25th could be the Beginning of the End for Cook.

AAPL will become "Jack of ALL trades, Master of None".

This Contrasts SIGNIFICANTLY with Jobs.

Per pg #426 of the Steve Jobs bio by Isaacson, "Deciding what not to do is as important as deciding what to do".

It describes Jobs' return to AAPL, & the turn-around he executed at that time.

3 subscriptions interested in and buy

1, Netflix, great value for a dedicated TV screaming service

2, Apple Music, love having the entire back catalogue of all my favourite artists on tap.

3, Amazon Prime, having virtually any item delivered the next day is very convinient.

Anything else is nonsense, if I want news I'll go on the free websites, if I want games, I'll buy games for my consoles and have a full gaming experience.

Sounds boring as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[doublepost=1553386106][/doublepost]SE2 I really want it, but at this point I loose all my hopes in that.

We’re one day away from the Apple Event, and ApplePay Cash is still showing on a Canadian account on the very latest (likely the release version) iOS 12.2 beta. UK users have reported the same.

Given that this is an event about services and that the Apple/Goldman Sachs credit card launch is now rumoured to be announced at the event, I think that Canada and the UK are getting ApplePay Cash and that it’ll be announced during the Apple Pay segment of the event.

Apple Pay is the most boring service of all. Who doesn't already have a contactless bank card?

I don't think I've ever been this disinterested in an Apple event before. News, Apple Pay and pay tv bundles? LMAO. What a weird company Apple is becoming.

Again much of this service revenue is google paying 9 to 12 billion a year to be default search. Then you must go way further down to AppleCare. Things like Apple Music do very little.

You want services revenue? Let MS pay to be default office. There’s all kinds of thing Apple could do or try here.

Video streaming hardly will make a dent even if done in the most strategic way. But Apple is hardly following some kind of optimal path. Apple is like a fish out of water here struggling to use its purchased original content in some way to encourage people buy subs of other channels that they already can today.

I hope they announce a updated AppleTV. I would love to buy one now, but it’s been awhile since the last version launched.

It's annoying when a company doesn't release the exact products I desire on my precise timeframe.

It's far, far more annoying when I have to sort through a thousand practically identical comments from people complaining uselessly about companies doing so. All I want is to find actual, valuable discussion about this event and the things which may be announced. Is that really so much to ask?
and....you're now part of that problem.

$29 for 6 socks
That's entry level!

If you want the socks to actually fit its: $99 for 6 socks
$199 for 6 socks that fit and don't shrink in the wash
$299 for 6 socks that fit, don't shrink in the wash, and don't fade.
$399 for 6 socks that fit, don't shrink in the wash, don't fade, and don't require Apple branded sock garters to work. (Sock garters sold separately) (Sock garters start at $29) (colorful third party sock garters are rumored - they start at $19)
You're wearing them wrong.

Intense navel gazing. Lineup of politically correct, no violence, no cursing, bland video content. iPad and iPad mini speed bumps. New iPod. News subscription service

Colorful Spring watch band collection

Very exciting stuff. Apple is firing on all cylinders
Now that is COMPLETELY unfair!

You forgot the 114 new emojis.
[doublepost=1553448393][/doublepost]They say Steve Jobs said he finally "cracked" TV.

Which means that Apple decided to go into the TV content industry and as the 900lb gorilla of course has to totally own that industry by bullying, suing, locking out competition from their walled garden, and buying out anything in their path to get what they want.
