Apple Watch: No Blood Pressure Monitor announced. I wonder if it will be available later after a software update, not announced yet, pending certification (?). Available later: disappointing.

iPad: Lower price is a big plus, evidently aimed at education and people with a low budget.

iPad Mini: Great improvements, but it should have come with at least two cameras.

iPhone 13: This lineup could have benefited from Center Stage, and USB-C Connector. How long will it take to transfer a large 4K ProRes video over the Lightning connector?

iOS / iPadOS 15: Developer releases hopefully later today?

So are the physical dimensions of the new phones the same as the 12’s? More specifically, will the case for my 12 Pro Max fit the 13 Pro Max?

The only thing I got out of a "Pro" phone was a small camera upgrade and variable ProMotion refresh rate. Come on Apple! These aren't pro phones! Cinmeatic Mode is available on the 13, so why do the Pro phones considered to still be called "Pro"?

Makes no sense! Place the M1 chip in the Pro phones and allow it to work with Apple Pencil. At least the iPad Mini was more exciting than the new iPhones. Even Apple Watch was a tad bit boring as well.

This event was about screen real estate selling! LOL!
They should just stop using the moniker 'pro' for anything; just call them 'premium'. It would prevent these silly pedantic rants about a phone being 'pro' - what does that even mean?

The new iPad mini is the most interesting to me now that it supports the newer apple pencil and refreshed.

The last couple years haven't convinced me to upgrade my 12.9 iPad Pro 2018 (3rd Gen), iPhone 11, and Series 4 Apple Watch.

Rather than upgrade my phone, I feel I'd get more utility, and spend less money, out of a base iPad Mini. Especially with staying home these days, as I wonder if I'd prefer to reach for a mini than my smaller phone (less leaning into phone and zooming). Only down side is the additional weight over holding a phone

My suggestion is to buy your Apple stuff soon, Cost is living is going up, people have spent their stimulus money. Things are getting harder to obtain so the price is driving up on technology. Taxes are defiantly going up, which will slow the economy even more. People are buying homes at outlandish prices thinking they are going to make a ton of money. Welcome the the great recession part 2 the sequel.
You're saying opposite things here. If people have spent their extra cash then demand will drop (as well prices).

ProMotion in an iPhone.... huge leap on its own! incredible new iPhones with cinematic-mode video record, best-ever cameras with DSLR quality still photography, the fastest processors in any smartphone..... EVER! It even has a smaller notch for a more immersive experience without compromising on the industry-leading FaceID security.
Tim Cook, is that you?

That would be Portland.

I didnt know Apple was selling California as a product, but they kinda were more than previous years at least

It is not just the presentation that have become pathetic at Apple.
Apple development and innovation has become pathetic as well.

Still waiting for a bigger iMac (27")
Still waiting for a MacBook Pro
Still waiting for a Mac PRO (smaller more affordable version)

No one cares about Apple content development.

The event promised so much and delivered so very little. I may end up getting the 13pro. But even then the colours are so disappointing. Lets badge space grey as graphite...
What did it "promise"? Don't let the Hypesters and leakers promise you anything... Apple does things at its own pace and timing. There have been a lot of issues over the last 2 years to overcome (supply chain, office closers, technology gaps)
