The small sensor will take ages to be on par with this. Nikon Z6ii 70-200 2.8S Nikkor Z.
Sure the price is about 4-5x the cost of the phone without on board storage, but the phone has a long way to go.
I use my Sony Alpha 1 loving it but yes lightning port too slow so i use my ipad pro importing photos and videos

Nice! I'm still going very strong with a Sony A7iii and a few nice lenses.
But I get it though, 'The best camera is the camera you have on you.' But if you're serious about doing photograpy or video, you'll have so much more fun with a real camera than one attached to a phone.

btw, Slinky strings ftw ^^
Love the a7iii!
Actually just went back to Nikon after a couple years with Sony a7iii and Tamron F2.8 trinity. Nikon colors just work better for me.

Slinky all day!

USB-C confirmed. NOW TIME FOR THE IPHONE....
Apple will more likely go port-less with the iPhone. Bringing USB-C to the iPad mini 6th Gen was just to allow mini users to use the same accessories that the iPad Air/Pro uses. It’s all about compatibility and making the mini a viable option to professionals. That’s not necessary with the iPhone.

No it was the WWDC keynote. They wanted to sell hardware with this keynote.
I’m aware of that - WWDC is when they demo it and launch the beta. They usually announce the official release day of the new OS during these product Keynotes, along with the preorder and ship dates of the new devices.

I dont trust the rumors anymore lol
Seriously, after multiple Prosser posts, videos of the Watch 7 flat edged design, "price hike" on 13's phones, etc etc. THEN his iPhone 14 video..I trust 0.0 rumors

So the iPad Mini is better than the ipad now.
that’s odd
Not really, Apple decided to go premium again with the latest processor like they did with the first 2 or 3 generations of the iPad mini. A vocal minority have asked for a premium iPad mini and now we got it. Now, for me the only question is space gray or purple?

If I didn’t have a mini 5, I would have already ordered the purple mini.

Professionally speaking, the file copy speed from Lightnihg is unacceptable. When you consider the new file sizes the new iPhone can generate, the wait times for file copies (before you can edit them in FCPX or whatever you use) is going to be an issue for many.

What's recorded on device stays on device? That may be the tagline for the new 4K video clips on these new phones. That is, unless they upgraded the lightning port speeds on these new phones.

I’m definitely getting the 6th Gen iPad mini. I’m just not sure if I should get the purple or space gray. The purple looks pale like a silver-purple, not the deeper purple of the iPhone 12/12 mini so I have to see it in person. I’m a little disappointed that the Apple Watch S7 wasn’t the redesign that all of the rumors pointed to. Maybe something went wrong in development and they had to stick to the old design for one more generation (with only a minor screen size increase). I may still get it since I don’t have a AW yet.

The only thing I really like about the iPhone 13 Pro is the battery improvement. Other than that, only minor improvements over my iPhone 12 Pro.

So for the people moaning, what did you expect? Not many things you can innovate on an iPhone. Most of that will come via software at this point. I also think folks get desensitized now.
Isn't that the point of the "Apple magic" and these presentations? They're supposed to surprise us with things we never imagined we wanted or needed. They (presumably) get paid the big bucks to dream up exciting ideas and bring them to fruition, not us. Our job is to be awed and amazed when they come singing and dancing out on to the stage and regale us with tales of triumph and magic, stunning us with their unrivaled skills of prestidigitation.

If it's going to be incremental updates, these meandering presentations are wasting everybody's time.

I wonder if airdrop would be faster. I use it mostly to shoot images or PDFs around, so I don’t have experience moving GBs at a time with it.
