This tweet from Elon Musk seems likes he likes the situation. Maybe he thinks it’s like Rome, it will rebuilt on top of itself.
I probably will too. I'm concerned about security.
Quitting a social network cannot be compared to physically moving out of a country. Besides, as soon as another platform comes along, Twitter will become a memory just like Friendster, MySpace, Vine, Google Plus. etc. The only reason Twitter gets so much coverage but not much actual usage is because the media uses Twitter as their own content creation studio but even they'll tire of it soon.
i think people would be happy if step 3 closed down also

Trump is not one to hold himself to the terms of deals he's agreed to. He's rejecting Twitter out of ego.

He’s in good company. I deleted all 3 of my twitter accounts a few days ago.
Maybe this is the start; if Twitter fails because so many of us abandoned it, perhaps we can start looking at our other social media platforms - which I happen to think are mostly poison, particularly for those who aren’t discriminating in what they read (which is most of us).

Twitter is just fine the left wing mob need to relax they were more than happy with conservatives banned and now because it doesn’t fit there narrative they are crying
If Schiller is making a political statement, that will be the end of his Apple career I suspect. Apple as you all know is very sensitive to the staff at any level but essentially that level deviating from their (Apple) norm.
As for Trump, he is all in with Truth Social. To go back to Twitter is like saying Truth Social is no good. But being the loose cannon he is, you never know what he will do next
I don't know how iron clad the agreement is, but Trump promised that he would exclusively post on Truth Social, would he not be in some breech if he goes back to Twitter?
Update: OK, it appears that the agreement states that Trump has to post on Truth Social first and must wait six hours to post anywhere else including Twitter.
Now I don't know how much money Trump has tied into the whole Truth Social company, I am not turning this thread political, I just don't know how you run for President without Twitter.

Freedom of speech protects you from the government, not a private company. Freedom of speech doesn't allow you to say whatever you want without consequences.
Why aren't we shining a light on the government trying to control/censor social media companies?
