You clearly dont read display analysis properly. Color accuracy is just one metric. Its the reason why the S7 won the best display on the planet while iPhone won the best LCD on the planet. The latter isnt even that praiseworthy because no reputable manufacturer on Android even uses LCD anymore
It's an important metric, imo. People who do color matching rely on color accuracy for example. But the best display on the planet isnt as accurate as the iPhone 7.
It may be more for being able to put it in our back pocket and not having to worry about the screen breaking. I think of it like a slide (the kind you use for a microscope) in my back pocket vs. a credit card. One will bend, and the other will break.
can't wait for Touch ID, Facial recognition, retina scan and voice print just to unlock your phone, or and don't forget your pass phrase. I get security, but DAMN...
And the S7 Edge display supports wide color and even on sRGB if you read Anandtech's analysis the Samsung displays were very very close to the iPhones. The best display on the planet is just as accurate as the iPhone 7 on the right OS.You should see this on the iPhone 8

Very much possible. Those same displays are being used on iPhone 8.
And there is no point. It supports wide color. That's like comparing an SSD using Linux and one using Windows and saying the former is inferior as it doesn't support TRIM when the OS itself can't do it by default
Do you know Samsung is supplying displays for the iPhone 8?
And is an SSD on Linux inferior to the same SSD on Windows just because it cant use trim?

So indirectly you agree with me that the Samsung displays are indeed the best on the planet.Its mere software support bottlenecking it.That doesnt mean its inferior. Thats like saying a GTX 1080 running on Linux and losing to an RX 480 on Windows makes the former inferior.
It would explain a perfect track record if there was one. However nobody here or there except for Apple can comment on unreleased products.

Thats effectively what you are saying.On linux my PC benchmarks differently as also on Windows.Similarly, Samsung's screens would perform their best on an OS with color management
There is no deep down, there is no iPhone 8. The reality is what the reality is.
