Is there going to be the standard IRC feed for live updates? Sorry, if it's in this thread somewhere, the forums are moving pretty slowly so I'm not able to find it...

:) My mistake

No, because MacRumors doesn't have anyone inside (apparently--I could be wrong). Everything on MacRumorsLive.com comes from other sites.

MacRumors.com does not have a live feed for the Feb 28th Media Event, so this page will consolidate all known Live coverage links for the event. In addition, this page will also provide live summaries of all announcements with appropriate credit to the reporting site.

The cant, they will most likely have a Pentium D Processor, the new 'cheap' 2.46/2.66Ghz we have been reading about that will probs cost them $100-150 a piece. The rest of the specs will almost certainly be the same except probably:

- X1300 64Mb Graphics and 128Mb on the best model
- higher HD capacity available for BTO
- Front Row technology bundled with Bluetooth remote or maybe IR

Apple have always stated that no Pentium class product will be used in the new Intel Mac's...

I've got iLounge up on the PB and MR up on the iMac.... comes in handy having two machines!!

ETA: iLounge just refreshed....nothing new yet. People are being seated and are settling in. Jonathan Ive in front row, a lot of other Apple execs in attendance, including the guy in charge of hardware marketing....

Development Work

So, anyone need some software development work done?

Need to generate some income so I can spend it on whatever they announce:D

Then that rules out the Celeron, because that is 'Pentium class' unless we are talking about the Core Solo Celeron deriviative which I don't know is out yet.

A Core Solo can't even make its way into a MacMini let alone a Duo so it will have to be a G4 boost I guess...
