The people looking for a Core Duo Mac Mini are dreaming...you're more likely to see both the Mini and the iBook replacement get fitted with a Core Solo/Dothan Pentium M.

If you think they'll have a mini with core solo, you're dreaming, it's almost as expensive as a duo. Apple would be crazy not to offer the Duo at least in the higher end model. If they can get a solo in the $499 version, they could sell a duo version for $100 more (or even more than that), it only costs them an extra $40 or so. They'd be fools not to do it.

I have heard rumours that the whole catalogue will be re-released next year (on CD and other digital formats), to correspond to the 40th anniversary of the release of 'Sgt. Pepper'. EMI/Apple know that Beatle fans will buy anything, so you can almost count on something like this happening.

The cant, they will most likely have a Pentium D Processor, the new 'cheap' 2.46/2.66Ghz we have been reading about that will probs cost them $100-150 a piece. The rest of the specs will almost certainly be the same except probably:

- X1300 64Mb Graphics and 128Mb on the best model
- higher HD capacity available for BTO
- Front Row technology bundled with Bluetooth remote or maybe IR
