How come arn doesn't get an invite... he's as important as anyone from engadget... I protest !!!!

Was able to break away and make it to the forums... the first thing I noticed was 16 pages worth of comments! I thought, oh noes! I've missed it all! But alas, it hasn't happened yet.

I'm glad to be a part of this... but I want to see a new iBook, which probably won't happen:(

Not until they figure out that it started 2 minutes ago and not in an hour...

It DOES start in 40 minutes, not 20 minutes ago. iLounge was wrong, they've already corrected it to 10AM on their site.

The people looking for a Core Duo Mac Mini are dreaming...you're more likely to see both the Mini and the iBook replacement get fitted with a Core Solo/Dothan Pentium M.

My ideal Mini that could keep it low-priced would be like so:

1.67 Core Solo
512MB DDR2 soldered on the logic board with a single SODIMM slot for expansion
40GB 2.5" hard drive standard/80GB BTO
Combo drive standard/Super drive BTO
APX standard/+bluetooth 2.0 BTO

I'd buy two of them today - one to replace my desktop Sawtooth (upgraded to 1GHz) and one for my wife's desktop (eMac 1GHz)

Hmm... I think its time I head to the University's library and watch this all unfold from there - just in case what I want comes out!!

Mind you by the time I get there this thread will already be at least five pages longer and its only a 5-10 minute walk!!

Keep looking at the Aussie, Korean and Singapore sites. They have a habit of putting up products early.. well they've done it twice.

spanish and french stores are up...

they won't sell anything new, just show steve's new hair cut... they'll keep everything for the 30th birthday...

I've come over all negative.... I think it is going to be all iPod related... hope not...

Seeing as we're doing the weather: 8 degrees in London, slighty sunny but we did have some rogue snowflakes about 30 min ago...My name's John Kettley thank you and goodnight! ;)

The Entire Beatles Catalog on iTunes with a Beatles Special Edition iPod.
TEG

The Beatles catalogue will not be re-released anywhere until it has all be remixed. The current circa-1987 CD releases are sub-par to say the least; probably the worst of any major act from the 60s-70s era.

Unfortunately, EMI/Apple released them in the infancy of digital audio. They really could do with a remix. Just listen to the versions of 'Eleanor Rigby' or 'Nowhere Man' on the Yellow Submarine soundtrack from a few years ago compared to the original CD releases on 'Revolver' and 'Rubber Soul', respectively. No comparison. I have heard rumours that the whole catalogue will be re-released next year (on CD and other digital formats), to correspond to the 40th anniversary of the release of 'Sgt. Pepper'. EMI/Apple know that Beatle fans will buy anything, so you can almost count on something like this happening.
