Apple today filed an unreleased Mac with a model identifier of A2289 in the Eurasian Economic Commission database, as spotted by MacRumors. The computer is described as a portable Mac running macOS Catalina.

As pure speculation, it is certainly possible that this listing could correspond with the rumored 13-inch MacBook Pro with a scissor keyboard, following in the footsteps of the 16-inch MacBook Pro last October. There is some hope that the 13-inch model will become a 14-inch model, but that remains uncertain.

Apple also filed its rack-mounted Mac Pro, model A2304, which remains listed as "coming soon" on its website. There are also a few existing Apple TV models that were filed merely to reflect tvOS 13.

Eurasian Economic Commission filings like these have foreshadowed the release of new Apple products on numerous occasions, including multiple Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPad Pro, Apple Watch, and AirPods models. The filings are legally required for any encrypted devices sold in Russia and select other countries.

Fingers crossed for a revised 13" MacBook Pro. Scissor switch keyboard with upgraded internals would be good. If they can get a 14" screen in there too then all the better.

Once you've used the new 16", its really not a pleasant experience going back to a butterfly keyboard model.

My bet is by the end of 2020 we will see -
MBA 13'' and 15''
MBP 14'' and 16''

Not great for me as I'll have crazy 14'' envy after I went all in on the 2019 MBP 13''.

It also lists a non portable machine, new iMacs on the horizon I’m sure. Or a new Mac mini or it’s replacement.

A 15 MBA with 15W 10nm processor, 16GB RAM and 512GB ssd for around 2000 euros would be a serious contender for my money for sure. But with good cooling please!!!

Have all of the previous seven filings from July now been accounted for, or were some of those still outstanding, too?

Nope. Only 2 of those identifiers are accounted for; the 16 inch and 13 inch from last summer. Five of those models still missing! Strange, such a high number. Check here btw: https://everymac.com/systems/by_capability/mac-specs-by-model-number-family-number.html

Calling it now. G5 Powerbook.
ARM?

I was just thinking the other day how nice a successor to the PowerBook G4 12" would be. I loved the design of that. It was built around the size of the keyboard. One of the most beautiful Macs ever made.
I used to have a Powerbook Wallstreet. Also one of the most beautiful Macs ever made.
I dropped it when entering my office one morning after only a month or so using it.
I can still feel the pain I felt when it hit the ground. The company refused to replace it..

This will be probably the 14" Mbp that will become available in march after the event with 10th gen Intel
