Really !?! How do I sign up for that?
Assuming you bought a qualifying watch, I assume it'll prompt you later today when Fitness+ launches and you try to use it, similar to how AppleTV+ prompts for the free year with qualified devices.

Note that even if you didn't buy a new watch, every person gets a 1 month trial so it should still prompt for that.

I will definitely give it a try, got 3 months free with the Series 6 anyway
I've been tinkering with it and it has its pros and cons. I'm an avid Peloton user and Apple's Fitness+ service is very different.
Peloton: Very trainer/personality focused. Each trainer has their own style.
Fitness+: Very "corporate". Very "Apple". Each workout has the same feel as the most recent Apple Events. They have a very structured/scripted feel, but its not necessary bad - just different.
I think for a focused training session, especially if goal orientated, Fitness+ is good.

I was hoping for outdoor Fitness+ workouts (running, etc.), but so far they only have indoor treadmill workouts. Since I do not have a tread I planned to do a walk/run while at the park with the pup. I learned the workouts are all video based and you have to leave your phone's display on while working out, which was surprising. I was hoping to just start the workout, sleep the screen, and go for a run, but you can't do that so I just left the screen on while in my pocket.

I know I’ve already posted it, but why oh why do they not have elliptical workouts?? I just ordered one before this launched and was hoping elliptical would be part of it. They are so popular! Come on, Apple, please add!

It’s a shame. I really wanted to get rid of my peloton digital membership for fitness+ but can’t see myself doing that any time soon. Hopefully the service gets better sooner rather then later.
