It doesnt count as killing someone if they linger a day in the hospital after 2 strokes and cardiac arrest first?

And regardless, are you saying if no one died then storming the capital was just dandy? A totally reasonable tantrum to have when you lose?
January 6 was an awful situation for sure. Anyone injured on-site physically or mentally has my sympathy.

This also goes out to all the towns burned down during riots and or demonstrations due to political climate, fear-mongering, ignorance, race baiting, racism, political segregation posturing, or any other reason under the sun.

silliness aside the fact that anything like this, in the abstract, can make it in means the system is in a pretty awful state. Funny? Yes. Awful? Yes.

Would this ninja edit also mean that there are lax controls or security in place? It doesn't paint a pretty picture but it does make for a good laugh. They seriously have no way of knowing if someone does something like this? No alarm, nothing? They are worse off than I thought.

An equally troubling but separate conclusion is the system "just did this" which, after the initial amusement wears off, still paints Apple in a fairly incompetent light.

In fairness, The Donald is an adjudicated rapist so it’s not like Siri is getting it entirely wrong … 😉

And this is why AI and similar products can't be blindly trusted. No matter how good it gets someone is programing it and injecting bias, either on purpose or unintentionally . All humans are flawed and will put their flaws into the programming when it comes to something like AI that appears to think for itself.

This is actually almost a philosophical question. In fact, the nature of information is neutral.

There are several bugs on iOS that have been around for years, so the fact that Tim Cook is having this Trump-related bug fixed qucikly shows where Cook's priorities are. It's no surprise considering that Cook donated $1 million to Trump's innaguration. Cook is supporting fascism because he believes it will result in more money for him and his shareholders.

Actual malice. See the Sullivan case.

“Actual malice” is a legal standard applied in defamation cases involving public figures, not something one can sue over. And even if this were considered a statement at all (absolutely not a given), it would obviously be protected opinion and thus not actionable.

Can’t wait for the release notes…

“Fixes issue where speaking the word “Trump”incorrectly displays the word “racist”…

Haha now that would be petty!

It is funny largely because it’s true. He is racist, he is a rapist, he is a fascist, he is a criminal and convicted felon, and all on top of being a pathological liar.
Well, I don’t know and I don’t like to go into politics on a tech website, but apparently many Americans voted for him…
If you are right, well US has a bigger problem here.

Trump has sued and won for this comment. He was never found guilty of rape.

He didn't win, ABC's parent company settled. There is a big difference when you're talking about lawsuits. Just like there is a difference between rape and sexual abuse in the eyes of the law, even if it is the same act (in the Carroll case, criminal court vs civil - she had to go to civil court because of the statute of limitations for criminal cases).

It's amazing what some people will minimize - like actual deaths - but if someone uses a word they don't like, they cry like a kicked dog.

Considering that (racist) Trump is suing 60min over the Kamala interview made last year he will probably go bananas against Apple for this.
