I work at a Apple Re-seller / Specialist store and I had a customer today who came from our local Apple store and was told that she could buy Snow Leopard from us if she wanted it or she could just buy Mountain Lion and install that.
i agree. a few weeks ago my brand spanking new macbook pro 13 i7 died on me after i plugged a usb device in. i knew it was the logic board. i told the guy at the genius bar that it was the logic board. he told me they would replace the magsafe connector because the charging light was fading. but i explained it charged fine before and it wasn't a power issue. so he said he would have the tech look at the logic board.
when i got my macbook back it started up fine then again a usb device killed. i went back to the apple store yet again. this time they just said they would give me a new one because it didn't make any sense in replacing the logic board because it was new.
i don't mind getting a new one. however i hadnt backed up anything yet because it was new and i had quit a bit of things on it.
why couldn't they just repair it instead of giving me a new one?
What is there about an Apple store that would bother a hypochondriac?
Let's see, there's the:
1. Dozens of other humans packed in a relatively small space (usually) breathing down your neck.
2. Electronics with surfaces that thousands of other people have been touching all day and every day.
3. The kids area.
Perhaps you should check the definition of hypochondriac.
Don't need to, I can tell you are one.![]()
