Dammit! Apple cancelled my order which was supposed to be sent via MyUS.com.

Used a US Unlocked card and VPN when ordering.

Not sure what to do now...

Wow! My order was also cancelled and now there's hope again! :D

Just send Apple an e-mail to ask if my order can be reinstated. I'm really hoping that they do... I was looking to my orderstatus in the Deliveries app and then it updated from "46 days" to "cancelled" :(

Thanks for your updates on this matter :)

Which email address you sent?

Yea, I also would have cancelled your order. It may be legitimate but sounds like the source of a lot of fraud.

Or there may be some kind of liability issue or even legal issue. Who knows at this point. It's a risk you take when you use such a service.

I work for DHL and am getting it delivered to the office, hopt they don't do this for mine

Does it actually say DHL on the order. or just your name and an address. If it's just an address they likely have no way of knowing that it's a DHL office.

then again, does DHL accept and reship orders in the manner of these other companies. If DHL does not then it likely doesn't matter if the company name is on there.

Hey all.

I'm in the same situation.

You guys reckon if I contact Apple Germany by phone I should be able to communicate in english?

Just realized Apple have cancelled my order silently, no notification or anything. This sucks.

If you ordered through a shipping company, you should check your order status.

Apparently they have cancelled every Borderlinx order silently 1 hour after they were placed.

A guy on another forum called support and they simply stated "Well you used a shipping company, which is not allowed".

Me too in the same situation in UK.
I've call Apple UK and they tell me that "fowarding is not accepted because we want the to delivery to the real person not a fowarding company".

I want my order back :( but i understand their motivation.

I don't understand if the user in Ireland ar using a forwarding company because they have they order reinstated. And if this only for Ireland (??)

I've send an e-mail to UK service and i'll see what they reply.

Just call apple support and tell them that they should check this with apple ireland. They apparently changed the policy about forwarding services because it's not legal in the EU to discriminate certain countries when it comes to online ordering.

Any hard source on this?
They don't have to discriminate against countries.
They only have to disallow shipping to shipment centers, which they are:

My order is still cancelled. I wrote an email of complaint on Friday to Tim Cook personally.

Today I received a call on behalf of Mr Cook which basically said that it is a company decision and no exceptions are made.

Now comes the strange part:
I've received an email from "Apple Online Store Executive Relations" which said that I could not be contacted and the matter needs to be discussed over the phone. I've received a direct dial number which am going to call on Monday.
Please please keep us updated what they said on the phonecall! (Have the exact same problem!
Thank you very much!

No, but I read something about this 2 days ago, but can't remember the source. It was a lawyer who said, that it's against EU law for a online shopping service to refuse a delivery to a certain address, when somebody is around to sign it. A package station is NOT a forwarding service or pickup service. It's like an automated PO Box, where the delivery company can drop the shipment without signing and you pick it up any time you like.

OMG, my order is back up!!!! Even with the 4/24 date!!!:eek::eek::eek: I cannot believe it
(I am the one who ordered it to a forward shipping company to get the watch from Germany to Austria)

Great :) They should have called you too like the others. I just hope they don't change their mind again.

I truly hope so too. It amazes me that you can actually write an email to the CEO himself and it will be read by someone. I'm completely baffled that they even listened.

Yes, but it's good for :apple: too, if they don't have to cancel too many orders. I think the 2 watches preorder limit is enough to limit scalping. They also can't risk to frustrate the apple fans outside the launch countries.

I'm really happy for you guys! So apple in EU don't have a problem shipping to a forward company :) good to know.

Mailbox.de order Cancelled silently

Its so frustrating finding this out the early monday morning.

You guys know where it sais you can't get shipped to forwardingservices.

I Work with law my self, so perhaps i should look into the legallity of this decision. But ill wait until i get written confirmation of the cancellation.

I expected more from Apple... Wasn't even able to place my order before 7 minuttes past the opening time.

So I'm trying to call Apple Germany from abroad... but it's a 0800 number.

I've tried +49800 or even +800 and none have worked. Any clues?

They block it when you try to call it from a different region. I tried to call the german number in Austria and it was not possible either, had to call the austrian one.
And for the first time ever, the support guy sounded like I was getting on his nerves and that I'm the 100th person asking, he can't do anything about it.
So basically I did nothing to get my order back up, just wait.
Best of luck to all of you.
