They block it when you try to call it from a different region. I tried to call the german number in Austria and it was not possible either, had to call the austrian one.
And for the first time ever, the support guy sounded like I was getting on his nerves and that I'm the 100th person asking, he can't do anything about it.
So basically I did nothing to get my order back up, just wait.

Emailed Apple UK referencing to the EU law, but I just got a reply saying the don't ship to shipping forwarders. (Had my order to be shipped to Borderlinx)

Guys, don't even bother with your local apple support. Just try to get in contact with Apple in Ireland and your order will be reinstated.

So i made the order here from Belgium in the DE (Germany) store so I have to contact Apple In Ireland?? You know the number please?? And what if I get the same answer as "they don't ship to forwarders"??

I don't know the number, but the ones who got the order reinstated got a call from the EU centre in ireland. I'd suggest you call your local apple support again and ask them to connect you to ireland.
 
Also used a forwarder as shipping address. Order not cancelled yet, so hope it goes through.. But I have a fear...

You don't have to. If they reinstate the orders, then it's clear that they backed down. I think they also faced a legal issue. Those who didn't receive a call, should be contacted soon enough. There's still some time left.
 
Hi,

I also ordered an Apple Watch on the 10th on the German online store and Apple silently cancelled my order. I've emailed them just now at contactus.de@euro.apple.com and I hope they will reinstate my order as well.
I live in the Netherlands and also used an forwarder. We'll see :)
 
If I ordered from the US Store Apple EU can reinstate my order?


Apple US won't honor your order if you used a freight forward, if you have family or friends call and try to get it reinstated with the new address; if you can't don't bother because once they know an address is from a freight company they will not ship :( ask the company you use if they have another "special" address you can use (local company here does) and have it change.
 
I also got my order cancelled by Apple UK (I was using Borderlinx) sent them a mail asking how to get it reinstated, got the follwing reply and my order is still cancelled.

"I understand you are disappointed as your order has been cancelled. Having reviewed your order, I can see your order was cancelled as Apple no longer deliver to freight forwarding addresses"
 
Do you think its a good idea to change the adress from the shipping forward company to my cousin's in germany? Who knows what they are going to do on the 24th, but now I have got the chance to change it. Any thoughts?

Call and tell them you didn't know and that you wish to change the address to a home and keep your order, right away

Thanks for answering ! But I will do this ASAP online, when my cousin sent me his address. You can easily edit it online, and if even tells you on the edit screen "No shipping to forward companies"
Maybe the reactivation was just an internal mistake, so I don't want to have any human looking at this :D Just smoothly change it and hopefully be done with this.

Unfortunately it is not possible to reactivate the cancellation.

The Apple Watch quota is only intended for the German market, which is why deliveries to logistcs companies such as mailboxde.com, by forwarding orders in foreign countries e.g. XXXXX, are categorically prohibited.

At this point I think your best bet is to eBay it. And eBay it now before prices/demand starts rising. Sorry that you have to go through a third party. Sucks.

It's not that simple. It's a certain kind of discrimination against other EU countries and that is certainly forbidden. It's the same with Germany planning a Autobahn fee only for foreigners. They had to change their plan and charge germans too.
