It would be OK.
But, I want to have many industrial common icons
*PC connector icons (USB, HDMI, Apple power connector, TB, etc)
*share icon, RSS feed, Wi-Fi wave (wireless connection) (twitter, etc)
*camera's button icons
*power switch (On/OFF, ON/sleep, etc)
etc....

It wasn’t the point of one team...it was a point of resources.
the first 500 Apple emojis were made almost entirely by one icon designer and his intern.

seriously, not really sure how much resources you think it takes to create emojis but i can pretty much guess this—>

you aren’t missing out on a single thing that you want from Apple since they’re too busy making emojis instead.

like— sure, they aren’t making what you think they should.. but your reasons why they aren’t seems a little off

As we all know, emoji are his passion and he personally handles their implementation.

Also guys, Apple aren’t making a bid deal about Emoji. Macrumors is.

This just proves one thing, Apple has not forgotten about emoji's. However forgotten about hardware quality (control), Apple started out as a clipart company not a hardware company. /s :p;)

Today's Apple.jpg

Sadly, both describe Apple perfectly...

The older I get the more use just 10-15 of these. No idea why there’s so many and why Apple cares to add more. The organization of these is horrible. I hope there are not huge teams coming up with new ones. What a waste of resources.

Emoji suggestions does not work in danish keyboard layout .. only english language.
As someone wrote there are too many now there is need of a better navigation especially when they are not suggested as in english keyboard

There are so many emojis that Apple needs better categorization of them in the keyboards. It takes too long to scroll around to find them. Also, there's no indicator of which ones have variations.

You'd think they would have thought of this, but of course not.

The best way I've found is to type the emoji I am looking for and then go to the Emoji keyboard and the text will light up orange. Tap on the text and it'll show you several search matches for emojis. While this works for now, it definitely needs a better method in the future.

Emoji don't take away from other Apple initiatives.
No wonder everyone (INCLUDING JONY IVE) is leaving Apple, they now suck, literally! iOS 12.3.1 totally ruined my iPhone XS Max and I can't even back it up because it's a 512 and I only have 100gb free space out of the 189gb space needed. And my face id is no longer working, screw you apple!
