No, go learn what over exaggeration means. Obviously there are plenty of games that have come out PC that aren't on consoles. What I meant was in the past three years or something along those lines in which your list will fall short. Again, i'm talking about BUILDING GAMING RIG to play these games. You do not need to build a gaming rig to play ANY of those games listed except for Crysis.
Riiiiggghhhtttt... When people use hyperbole they don't sit there and defend it repeatedly. You wanted 'evidence' of why your opinion was inaccurate, I provided it, and now yer like "well that wasn't my opinion at all. What I really meant to say was..."

At least you finally admitted what you said was completely off base.

Whatever help you sleep at night, buddy. The fact of the matter is you can't detect sarcasm or over exaggeration very well in text. I was not defending my entire statement with that reply genius, but apparently you aren't bright enough to realize that. If you seriously think I meant the last 10 years of gaming then you are a complete buffoon. I thought it was pretty clear I was talking about the 360-PS3 time frame.

Also of course it was off base, that's what an over exaggeration is. The people on this forum never cease to amaze me at how condescending they come off.

Please explain to me how that makes any sense.

I think for the most part reviews from major sites (Gamespot, IGN) should be ignored as it's been shown they get paid to give games good scores. I know this isn't exactly surprising, but it doesn't really let you get a good feel for the game. Watching gameplay videos and reading user reviews are probably the best bet

From your opinion its average, and from my opinion, whats considered average is bad. Plus I wrote bad because I forgot the actual score.

Well if you think average means bad you need to open a dictionary. There are no opinions on the simple definitions of words.

They've stated multiple times that they don't get paid but I doubt that statement won't change what you think of them. Which is why I linked to a site that had 44 reviews of the game combined.

Oh, please don't **** my brain. Either way you look at it, 80% isn't average, it's good.
100 = perfect
90 = more pros than cons
80 = same amount of cons and pros: average
70 = more cons than pros
60 = A lot of cons with a few pros
50 and below = abysmal

Look, I know you really want to defend these guys simply because you live in the Ukraine but the game isn't the god send you are making it out to be just to back up your argument. Seriously, you go from saying 80 is a bad score to 80 is good. Make up your mind or stop replying.

80 = generally favorable reviews. Game is amazing though. Not as good as CoD4 or TF2 but still amazing. BTW, not to be a bitch, don't put "the" in front of Ukraine, it was added during Soviet Russia to make Ukraine seem like a region, not a separate state.

Ok well i'm getting pretty tired of responding to this thread with both of us basically getting nowhere. Sorry about putting the in front Ukraine, didn't really think much about it.

Me too. I just like arguing (I honestly do, my relatives get really pissed off at me for it).

Hate to break it to you but you still have no idea what you are talking about. Ghostbusters is still a multiplatform game as is GTAIV.

You're changing your argument now, your original claim was;

The only reason why multi-platform games are like that on the 360 is because they are developed for the 360 first and not optimized for the PS3
But now you're claiming it's because they're multiplatform? Right. Just please be consistent.

Both the games I listed were developed on the PS3 and ported to the Xbox after the game was completed (but before gold master), Final Fantasy XIII is also in the same boat. It'll be interesting to see how that fares.

Ghostbusters was also patched to fixed some graphical issues on the PS3 so that comparison picture can get thrown out the window.
It most definitely can not. It was patched but it still isn't close to the detail of the Xbox version. The developers even detailed the reasons why it looks so bad compared.
How about instead of comparing your crappy multiplatform games you compare exclusives like Uncharted 2? Oh that's right, because the PS3 would utterly destroy the 360 in every way shape and form.
It took 3 years to get a game like Uncharted 2 out, a game developed by a studio that only works on Playstation titles and claimed that "slowdown makes a game seem more impressive". It looks vaguely realistic, but so does Forza 3 on the Xbox.
Did I mention that Metal Gear Solid 4 would take up 15 disks on the 360?
How many DVDs does Crysis, GTAIV, Oblivion, Fallout 3 or any other epic scaled game take up? MGS4 used lots of uncompressed video cutscenes and sounds. Compress those with H264 and you could fit it on DVD. As a developer myself (and the subject of lectures I've attended), MGS4 is just an uncompressed game that was used to promote the benefits of Bluray as a gaming format.
the 360 was not developed to produce 1080p images, whether you like it not.
It might not have been originally developed for that but have a look now. 4 years later (is it?) and it supports 1080p60 just like the Playstation 3.
Every game done on the 360 can be put on the PS3, every optimized and developed from the ground up to work for the PS3 can not be put on the 360 without taking a massive hit in performance or just not even being able to put the game on it.
And every 360 game can be put on the PS3, it just suffers in the graphics department.

Then again I don't even know why i'm arguing with because it's pretty clear you look like you are 15 at the oldest. Seriously kid, next time you reply try to compare meaningful things so you can stop wasting my time.
And no personal insults please, they're against the rules here.

Is this also another example of the FUD you spread?

Ok then how about this, multiplatform games in general are VERY rarely optimized for the more advanced system whether they are made for a console first or not. This is fact.

Both the games I listed were developed on the PS3 and ported to the Xbox after the game was completed (but before gold master), Final Fantasy XIII is also in the same boat. It'll be interesting to see how that fares.
Find me where GTAIV was stated that it was first developed for the PS3, either way my previous statement still stands and like I said Ghostbusters had graphical issues on the PS3 that were patched.

That's funny. So just because it takes a while to get a game out means it should be discredited?

Also Forza 3 has jack **** on Uncharted 2. The lighting effects in Forza 3 are mediocre at best when compared and the damage effects aren't too great either.

That's ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS because Hideo Kojima himself stated that even Blu-Ray was not enough space.

Maybe YOU should just stop spewing random crap around.

Looking at it now it still doesn't do true 1080p, again did you even watch the video I linked you to?

And every 360 game can be put on the PS3, it just suffers in the graphics department.
This actually made me laugh. See LagunaSol's post.
Response in bold.
