The hype machine hasn't been this turned up since 07. Tomorrow will define Apple for many, many years to come. Let's hope they get it right.

Exactly what I've been saying here but somehow others read more into what's being plainly said.

2007 was a great year and I hope 2014 lives up to the same level of hype generated.

For Apple to redirect their home page to the live event page is astounding to me.

It seems as though tomorrow is the equivalent of Apple sliding all of their chips to the middle of the table and saying, "all in". At this point, I fully expect to be blown away tomorrow.

For a normally slow and steady company to be ratcheting up the hype like this, it must be a big deal. Either that or tomorrow will be the biggest letdown in the Apple world in years.

My credit card is ready.

Out of curiosity.... I wonder if Credit Card companies have to make adjustments to their cash flow to coincide with Apple Events such as this. I mean, if Apple product releases can disrupt the entire shipping infrastructure of shipments coming out of Asia... you would have to think that there would be a much greater percentage of purchases than normal.

The inside of the Flint Center revealed!

First pictures of the inside of the Flint Center for tomorrows event. It's like 1984 all over again! :)

You are right on point about the home page. They are "all in" for sure. If tomorrow is any less then jaw dropping, it will be the biggest let down in tech history. And it's Apple themselves cranking up the hype to these levels. They have the ENTIRE tech world focused on them expecting something huge tomorrow. And I think they're ready. This watch has got to be just incredible and so different and more advanced hen anything we've ever seen. And I can't wait to see it.

Don't let the iWatch just be something that relies entirely too much on the phone.

This is what scares me. That it has been referred to as an "accessory." I want a stand-alone product, that iSyncs on it's own, and has it's own apps and functionality. Not something that just communicates to some degree with the phone and is not functional without it's presence.

As I said, if Microsoft said only PC users running Internet explorer could watch an even that many on all platforms would be interested in, then everyone on these forums would be up in arms about how arrogant, petty and childish Microsoft was being.

Generally I agree with most of what you said...
Having said that, i don't think I would use Microsoft as a model for how anything at all should be done. They are an increasingly irrelevant company in my opinion. And even if you don't agree with that, you surely must agree that they have done a pretty piss poor job of generating any kind of hype or excitement at all about any one of their products, for a very long time.

Just wondering, usually Apple adds a 'Special Event' channel on the Apple TV for the live-stream, but I don't see the channel added yet. Is it something which will be added by Apple in the morning?

Yea, I just hope my Apple shares don't crash by 10% because Tim Cook doesn't fart out golden eggs while on stage before introducing the aliens who will fly in from Alpha Centauri to bring the iWatch, accompanied by a three-headed Steve Jobs clone, riding on a unicorn dragon which spews fire that cures cancer and turns tree leaves into bacon.

Three Steve Jobs heads would kill each other.. The rest is reasonable.

With all this hype and where it is taking place it makes me wonder if we are seeing a new "1984" commercial. lol.

"On September 9, 2014, Apple will announce the iPhone and iWatch, and you will see why 2014-2015 won't be like 2014-2015."

Yea, doesn't have the same ring to do it. lol

This is NOT going to be an hour long keynote.

My guess is 2 hours. 10AM to 12 Noon.

According to Apple themselves it is going to be 2 hours long.

When you go to the Invite Countdownon Apple.com at the bottom of the invite there is a link to "Add Event" to Calendar".

When I aded it to my calendar it blocked out 1pm to 3pm EST for me

Some do that and some don't. When I added it it just gave me a 15 min. time
