I haven't been this excited for a gadget release since the night before the iPhone 4 hit the stores & everyone had to plot their arrivals because of the "reservation" fiasco.

It's a countdown to "Argh, I HATE the new design" troll posts...

I can guarantee you one thing - being on macrumors, tomorrow, is right at the VERY VERY VERY VERY bottom of my list of sites I want to be at... this is the LAST place I want to be - it's just a "good enough" stop-gap for laughs, whilst we wait.

I'll be elsewhere, whilst you poor folks who remain will have to endure the moronic comments pouring in in torrents...

Hah! :D

My bed is ready... I can sleep... I'm not 5, and it's not Christmas eve :)

I wonder if you bothered to read the site footer?:

Suspense - it's kind of the whole point that they don't tell you - not sure if you got that?

And so the excessive, self-serving drama queening has officially begun...

Take oneself offline? I think I shall.

I bet you are really good at clubbing baby seals. :D:D:D Let the crowd have their fun... without being chastised for it. People get excited about stuff. Sometimes it's Apple. Sometimes it's the Fappening. Sometimes it's just a big ass plate of bacon. mmmmmmm, bacon.

What if they announce the iWatch comes with maple bacon as straps instead of leather, steel, or rubber? And, and, and you get packs of replacement straps in different flavors and thicknesses. Imagine:

/at Apple store

Me: "Yes, I'd like my iWatch with maple bacon straps and I would also like to buy additional straps in pepper bacon, thick cut, and since I have a buddy in Nova Scotia throw me in a pack of straps in Canadian bacon."

Store clerk: "How would you like to pay for that sir?"

Me: "Via NFC tied to Touch ID, backended by tokenization, and double verified by 2 factor authentication. But no iCloud. Me and the Mrs had date night last night."

All I really want to say is let the people have fun without Debbie Downing the anticipation.

It would be nice if they made that page work in all browsers... my company uses an old version of IE (for whatever reason... :/) and the counter just displays 00:00:00:00

So I guess its time for the event!!! I guess the figure every person on the net will use an apple product which would display the correct information. :p

Lucky for me, I always have my trusty iPhone 5S :apple:

Has anybody mentioned that the two rumored versions of the iWatch might be a wifi/bluetooth only version and one that costs more with cellular connection? That would benefit those that don't want it to be an iPhone accessory and those that already have an iPhone.

i will tell you what the countdown is for. its for my bday :p:D

Here, wait no longer:

Still being more lucrative than every OEM combined?

I wasn't referring how much Apple will make in terms of sales for what ever they unveil. I'm sure what ever it is, iWatch or something else, will be profitable than any other company doing the same.

I'm referring to satisfying the expectations that's being built up the all the hype, hype both by observers and Apple themselves.

As I pointed out earlier, the last time that any hype was built around an around a product announcement and the hype was satisfied was the original iPhone in 2007.

So the real question is, will an iWatch announcement actually fulfill the hype built around it much like the original iPhone or the original Macintosh?

Personally, I'm looking forward to the announcement, as I usually do. However, I'm not too excited about wearables. I've been seeing other offerings, Google's for example, and I will be extremely disappointed if Apple's announcement tomorrow is something similar to that.

Is it bad to take a comp day for this?

All,

I will be out of the office until Wednesday. Please don't call me or email me as I will not respond until the Apple Keynote is over.

Thanks,
:apple:

Yes.

This will be the classic "Apple making us want something we didn't know we wanted" scenario.
Then once we have one, we'll wonder what we did before them.
And everyone who bitched and griped about a wearable will be the 1st kids on the block touting the glory that is "the wearable."
We've seen this play out before...

Tomorrow's gonna be fun.

The hype wasn't satisfied. Apple was mocked because of the iPhone by everybody. For many, it was the definitive proof that Apple would close doors in less than a year.

The same can and most likely will be said tomorrow, despite everything.

So what? I'm not retard, I can see through the BS and i'm not worried at all. It will be amazing. Most of you guys are so nervous, so insecure about Apple...

Just here to say I was one of the 1000 that got to buy a Never Ending Pasta Bowl card to eat unlimited pasta every day 3 times a day Until November 9th.

I am so happy I just had to share my news. I can also get unlimited salad, breadsticks and free coca cola products.

as much as I want to see some revolutionary products I also want them to just pull an iPod Hi-Fi event and just release a boombox and some cases just to see how the world would react.

Something to think about: Will Scott Forstall be watching the keynote live stream tomorrow?

You seem to have a way with explaining yourself.

I never said I was insecure, in fact, I look forward to tomorrow's keynote as I do with EVERY Apple keynote.

I am as big an Apple fan as you and the next person and I am not worried about Apple surviving the scrutiny of what ever they announce both as a business and a brand.

What I have been talking about is the hype of an announcement. Like I have mentioned, I look forward to every Apple announcement but there have been many times where the hype does not fill the expectation. For example, the iPhone 4S announcement where the biggest new feature was Siri.

You make far too many assumptions about me and it's best not to put words into my mouth.

I'd imagine he'll watch it at some point - he's out of the loop so some will be news to him. Might sting a little seeing as Bob Mansfield likely had a part in him leaving in 2012. Will be curious to see what he's been up to - was it 18 months or similar before he could work on competitive products etc as part of his leaving package?
