I have two Apple ID's. I use one for movie and t.v. purchases and the other to log into my Apple devices (and make device app purchases).

If I tried that approach, I'd forget which one to use and get mixed up with audio content and/or app purchases on both Apple ID's, chaos would ensue!

I don't think I have THAT many. It's just that I have the old ones tucked away in a cabinet. I have an 11-inch iPad Pro (the "Fresh" one) and an iPad mini 6 that I use daily for different purposes, the rest are all older and not in use.

My apple id for the iTunes store does not have any email attached. So I always had to setup 2 accounts in my devices. One for the store and then the Mac/me/iCloud one..

He has plenty of devices, it's just listing the iMac there because I happen to have an account on it. I guess I need to stop being lazy and trade-in my old devices.

Thankfully, that has only happened to be one time thus far. I purchased a t.v. series on my Apple device account.
