The extended limits will likely be useful for high-quality game titles that need the extra space to introduce improved graphical effects or longer playtimes."
Or sloppier code.

good luck putting that 4GB app on your 16GB iPhone![]()
As others have said, this is not relevant. Only if one file was greater than that limit. Not a collection of files, like an App.
And in any case, that limit is 4GB, not 2GB.
3 games on a 16gb and you're done!

The limit is not Apple but the carriers.
This doesn't make sense. The carriers stand to make more money if people go over their data plans. You'd expect them to be all for eliminating these limits.
Wrong. Two.
iOS takes of a few Geebeez

Now get rid of 16gig base models and start at 64.
Does this mean that the 16GB model will be dropped then? I think it does. I think it's a factor.

Being pedantic here but you'd fit two games on there because the OS needs space!!
Disney Infinity Toy Box 2.0 was already 4.4GB before this, how does that work then?
Apple already see this coming, putting the entry level iphone 6 at 16 gb still baffles me.......... Oh well I guess its safe to assume the entry level for iphone 6s would be 32 gb.
