I downloaded it on my M4 iPad. Joined the waitlist, got approved. Didn't work. Rebooted iPad. Now it's working, but I can't figure out any request that will make Apple Intelligence actually go to OpenAI...

What about UK? We're not in the EU any more. And even then, it only works in "US English". Pah! Will they ever launch it in UK English?

Apple’s summary of this article:
“Apple has released developer betas of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, introducing early versions of Apple Intelligence features. These features include Writing Tools, Siri’s revamped design, and smart replies in Messages and Mail. Apple Intelligence will be available in a beta capacity this fall, with new capabilities rolled out over time.”

Updated both my iPhone 15 Pro MAX and 11" M4 iPad Pro to the iOS 18.1 Beta.

I joined the waitlist from my iPhone, and I'm still on it. But after my iPad finished installing 18.1 there was no waitlist, just welcome to Apple Intelligence and it's fully working. Interesting. Wonder if my waitlist got approved and I just need to restart my phone, or if there is no waitlist for the M4 iPad Pro.

Still trying to upgrade my M3 MAX MacBook Pro to the MacOS 15.1 beta. It just will not see it as available.

I switched to the 15.1 Developer Beta Channel, and have been checking to see if the update has popped up ever 5 minutes or so. No luck yet.
