Does that mean that iPhone 12 will also get the new Touch ID power button?
Now that I think about it, Touch ID power button on iPhone is less practical since most iPhones go into Apple cases that cover the button.
iPad Pro has an A12Z and Air has A14...so it seems the iPad Air is more powerful? Strange.i agree.. the 11" Pro and the Air are about the same? FaceID is the biggie?
The rationale (price) for the standard iPad is stronger now than ever, given that the Air just went up $100 in starting price. $329 for the iPad is going to tempt a lot more people than $599 for the Air.So the iPad Pro is now 2 generations older than the air.....why? Also, why does the standard iPad exist? I completely forgot before today that there are FOUR iPad models. Insane.
Also, USB-C for iPhone next Apple
How does the A14 compare to the A12Z from the iPad Pros?
This is pretty impressive for an Air. Almost makes my 2020 Pro look obsolete! The A14 will surely be faster then A12Z no?
I guess for Pro Motion and Face ID? But yeah, doesn’t seem worth another $200.
We can dream. iPhone 12 with Touch ID power button and no notch would be the best news ever... but it’s not gonna happen.
Yes 64 GB it looks like on the website nowGreat update to the Air, it is a great device to have now!
The Pro keeps the Motion Display, the Camera Setup and the LiDAR scanner, possibly with different RAM/ Storage options?
And two extra speakers, 120hz refresh rate, dual camera, LIDAR, possibly more RAM and base storage.Good to know that my ipad Pro is now just an ipad Air with faceID
Yeah.. but only 64 GB... and I won’t even start with the price for the keyboard.. and/or a cover.599 lmao
They're really trying to replace your laptop with this
I desperately need a air 2 upgrade but no headphone jack. I guess Air 3 for meAnother 100 bucks markup for the Air. The Apple money machine will keep printing, now doubt. I'll stick with my Air 2.
Yeah I’ve also been holding it out with the 9.7 Pro, this might be a good time to upgrade. I’m still not in that much of a hurry, though, this thing is still chugging along.Currently have a 9.7" Pro but I'd jump to an Air at this point when it comes time for replacement, no specific use-case for the iPad Pro.
