I had it happen 1st time last week, after having it for 4 plus months, Ultra 2. I did a hard reset and have not had a 2nd occurence.

I was just wearing the watch, nothing specific going on, it started vibrating which brought my anttention and the screen was jumping all over the place.

I have this issue on my AWU2, which I bought on release day. This is more apparent when using the lock screen to enter my passcode. I thought I was fat-fingering but I didn't have that issue on my AW7.

Nah, they just want us to take it back to an Apple Store so they can "fix" it.
They're going to call it a "recall," but they just want to disable the blood-oxygen sensor.

They ain't getting a hold of mine. Nope.
Had something happened on my Aw S6. Did a reset and never had any issue.

Happened to me the other day and my Series 9 ended up calling 911 and sending an alert to my wife, who happened to be on the other side of the country. Fun times!

Been having this happen only in the Medications app since watchOS 10. Seen it on an S8 and an S9.

Thought they would have fixed it by now. But with the text duplication bug lingering for 5 months until this past week, I’m not getting my hopes up.

Bug fixes seem to have really slowed down this year. Probably because everybody got pulled from other projects to get visionOS out the door.

i've had the opposite issue. i touch the screen and it often doesn't recognise it so i need to tap again. very unresponsive and slow.
The same issue on my iPhone 15 Pro, but my Apple Watch Ultra 2 is fine (knock on wood).

They've publicly stated they're not going to do that.

You honestly think they couldn't do it remotely, if it was their intent? Just wrap the payload in a "critical security patch" and deploy.

I've noticed even the slightest bit of moisture on the screen can render it unuseable. Don't recall experiencing this with older iPhones.

Currently have the iPhone 13 Pro.

Doesn't help that I'm using it in a hot bath. 🤣

I'm wondering if that's maybe a software issue. Because my Series 7 also has problems with touch responsiveness while a training is active ever since I upgraded to WatchOS 10.3 (might have been there with WatchOS 10 generally, but I didn't notice it before and it certainly wasn't present with WatchOS 9).

I get that sometimes wen my fingertips are dry. I breathe on them and it seems better.

Ghost in the Apple Watch. An Apple TV original.

Ghost in the Machine. We're now living in an age where that's possible.

Imagine when vending machines start trying to sell you "the goods" by analyzing your clothing, facial expressions, and mood, and crafting a sales pitch to match.

I once had ghost input on my iPhone 12 max. inputting some characters in a text window. Then no finger on the screen. some characters appeared without any interaction. no liquid or visible stuff on the screen
