Is it possible that they were gunna hold out, but after the leaks they decided they needed to release it soon before the whole mystery is gone?
If not likely I'd say very.

It's so sad reading this thread, you people really need to get life, it's just a laptop
Matt
I actually really like it. It's like a thick macbook air. Exactly what I wanted
I'm hoping for this:
MacBook starts at $800, available in rainbow colors, exactly like a thick MacBook Air but with ports and an optical drive....
MacBook Pro starts at $1799 and comes in silver and black. Just like a thick macbook air but with ports and an optical drive.
Possibly blu-ray. Hooray, yay

Is this thicker than the current MBP?
Says the "mac rumours regular".
Yeah its a laptop, we're just excited at buying something.. dont see what the problem is.
Yeah, cant wait to finally have apple in my life too
ive picked up an imac and ibook g3 over the years, great, not too much use... and use the macs at college... but finally MY OWN![]()
Hmm...Where are the Mac Pro's?
I know I know, I have been a long time notebook user myself, but I think it is time to REALLY upgrade! I know Apple Inc. has never really had a media event surrounding the Mac Pro's, as they more or less just release them in the background... Any ideas? I know it has been close to 300 days since the last release... Average is like 220 days...
MacWorld'09 for those.
ha sorry we probably won't know much more about it until it actually happensDamn! I forgot to read "I'm hoping for this"
Almost gave me a semi! U evil evil people!
Not really, its a viable question. Just because they have the event doesn't mean they will come out the same day....or does it....idk, I would like a more intelligent answer than yours, you know, being an ass.![]()
I don't have the graphics software I would need where I am now. Has anyone scaled a current MB or MBP based on the apple logo on the back, overlaid it on the invitation, and determined the size of the notebook in the invite?
Probably a silent update like last time, if they're not doing anything special to it. I doubt it has a profit margin that can justify spending too much time and effort over to their accounts people, as important as it may be to actually introducing people to the Mac.
