steve jobs is prob using a 160 GB RAM 10 TB SSD and a 8.5 Ghz poccer of course he hasn't come up with a case yet so he keeps it in an ipod nano
and by the way he is running OS 15

:apple::cool::rolleyes:

And he is laughing at our squacks over petty little things

I hear he's a Dell kinda guy.

10 hours thats nothing i have to drive over 10 minutes to my local apple store

I feel your pain, the 10 minute drive and $0.50 in gas its going to take me to get there, almost too much to bear

So from the invites does anyone else think that the new macbooks may come in black too? Im really hoping for that and LED screen, and multitouch pad on the regular macbook

They wont really be a dealbreaker for me as ill most likely get one either way, but itll be nice, especially if the price does drop to $800 or so as its predicted to

I've got to drive half an hour. :(

I don't want them to make one closer, though. You see, I live in Washington state. Where there is an 8.1% sales tax. The nearest Apple Store is in Oregon, where there is a 0% sales tax. :D :D :D

Here in Québec we pay a 5% federal tax, then we pay a 7.5% provincial tax on top of the total + federal tax. Yep, 12.875% in taxes, 0.375% which comes from thin air.

What do you mean thin air? You realize that the extra 0.375% comes from taxing the federal tax, right?

You can't just add the 5% and 7.5% and get 12.5% because the 7.5% is ontop of the 5%. It looks like this: ($100*1.05)*1.075 = $112.875.

Sorry. I'm a loser.

A picture of a screen with a picture?
This is wrong on so many levels, even if not fake.

Dude, that statement doesn't even make sense. If you're snapping photos you're not supposed to have (leaking photos), do you CARE if it's from an LCD projector presentation or not? This simply looks like someone taking pictures of promo material being presented on a large screen projection. Oh, we're sorry we couldn't photograph the actual laptops from the lab.... Better luck next time, I guess.

hey how do i know if my town is eligible for Apple to build a store? or how is the process done?

1. Do you have an upscale shopping mall?

A. Yes

B. No

2. Is your area stereotyped as being full of hicks?

A. No

B. Yes

3. Is your area stereotyped as being full of rich people and/or hippes?

A. Yes

B. No

4. Is your area commonly thought of as being in the height of fashion?

A. Yes

B. No

If you answered "B" to any of the above questions, you aren't getting an Apple Store until your town changes so you can answer "A" to all of those. If you did say "A" for all of them, there are probably secret plans to build one in the near future.

Yeah I know where that 0.375% comes from. But a tax is supposed to be charged on products and services. IMHO, a tax on a tax is nonsense. :p
