OK Here's da Pics from the above post. I speak only English so I can not interpret text.
It's only Spanish. Maybe I can put part of my degree to use here.

Glass Trackpad Hidden In The Invitation For Tuesday

Our colleague Dr. Macenstein of Macenstein.com informs us that the invitation from Apple for the launch of the new MacBooks next Tuesday is in reality a glass trackpad. If we take a look and observe in the right way and under certain conditions you'd understand what I'm talking about...

Would you like to know more?

What's my best bet... Bluewater or Regent Street? I can get to either after work on Tuesday or Regent Street lunchtime on Wednesday.... Hope they don't sell out in that time :(

Surely one would like to avoid Kent as much as possible therefore the only sensible option is Regent Street?

Only joking Kentish ppl, please don't hate me. It is however, unlikely that one store would have them while the other does not. And as another poster has said, these do not tend to disappear as quickly as the new ipods/iphones because of the (even possibly reduced) price point. So if I was you, i'd head to Regent Street/Bluewater, whatever's closer, but unless you get confirmation that it is in Bluewater while you are in Regent Street or vice-versa, don't go chasing it.

There is the other option of waiting a couple of days before you buy, but knowing the forum, this isn't even worth suggesting.

so the notebooks WILL BE RELEASED and available on their debut on OCT 14TH? (i can't remember if the nanos were like this..)

i'm going to sell my macbook and get the money and buy it the same day. i must protect my investment haha. the price will go down tremendously when the new and more updated notebooks release, (and have a lower price tag.)

So I guess they'll be announced around 6pm our time.... if I headed down to Bluewater before closing at 8 do you recon they'd have them out or would I have to wait till the next day?

Nobody can say for sure until at least the 14th. Apple keep their release dates a BIG secret, and it does vary - on rare occasions it's same day, sometimes next day, next week, 2 weeks, next month, 2 months.... (this also answers the multitude of questions regarding when it'll be released. Nobody knows but Apple.)

Your best bet would be to wait to see when they're even out - check here for the keynote info - and phone the store to see if they have them in yet. Nobody here will be able to give a useful answer.

Glad I'm not the only Brit up at some silly hour talking about Macs when most would be either crawling back from something more social or sleeping.

I think the glass trackpad could be real. and it won't be just a gimmick. think about it, it could display the gestures that you could use or are using, and maybe some widgets etc... sounds cool!

I do agree with you that no one is sure when the laptops will be available. I just wanted to remind everyone of the rumor back in September that the Macbooks were shipping. link
Although I haven't seen anything saying it is true, it does leave a glimmer of hope for a same day release. :)

LOL you know what's funny
It's that here in Canada the 14th is election day and I guess I won't really care because there will be something more important:D:D:D

MACBOOKS :D:):D

Not to put a damper on your day, but if my memory serves me properly, the 2nd generation iBook was announced and became available 6 weeks later. Hopefully it won't be that long for us to get our mitts on the new MacBooks
