A few people have mentioned that perhaps the colours indicate a return to the colourful logo. I not sure myself but perhaps Apple will release limited/special/anniversary lines with either a colourful log to celebrate 30 years or perhaps full colour products like a Red/Green/Blue iMac Retina or Macbook Air/Pro)? Apple can sell products to people who don't need them and this could be yet another reason to upgrade to a newer product just to get the limited edition.

I still think it's Apple TV and just a few refreshes of other lines (inc a 12" Air)

It came across my mind that they would change the logo, but I completely forgot about a 30th anniversary Macintosh... That would be amazing! Put it this way, they said its been way to long, and the last time we had a anniversary Mac was 10 years ago, and 30 years since it came out... Or better yet, they release the exact same Mac that was available 30 years ago... Just update some things like put a LCD in, give it more ram and HDD space and a SuperDrive, but keep the same design. That would be awesome!

Apple logo leaf = ear or head phones (Beats by Dre) even looks like a ear bluetooth device

Apple logo bottom/body = headphone cable (too loooong) hence bluetooth/NFC connectivity

iWatch/ Beats wireless headphones : control your music from your iwatch as you work out, work or do anything

Multicolors used: New iPod / Beats combo in a variaty of colors to mix and match

And/or Maybe New Colored iPad models just like iPhone 5c and new iWatch mix and match

I spend more time reading these threads than I do posting. MacRumors is actually the first forum that I've ever joined. Guess my newbie title is fitting. With that said anyone have the does and the don'ts to forum etiquette. I've never followed blogs either. MacRumors and a few YouTube "vlogs" are my first. All tips are welcome!

When you're going to bash Apple, make sure you start with, "I am a super Apple fanboy and I have everything they've ever made, but ..."

List tons of Apple products in your signature (I see you've already done this, lol), this goes hand in hand with line above

Somehow work Samsung into the response for any article posted (you can be for or against, it doesn't matter, as long as you enflame a good argument)

Whenever an article covering a new feature on the iPhone is published, respond that it was copied from Android and how you wish Apple was still innovative

When responding to someone who has indicated that Android or Windows has copied something from Apple, make sure to mention that Apple stole the whole idea of the GUI and mouse from Xerox (or better yet, they've stolen everything they've ever done) so it's only justified that others would steal from them

Describe in intimate detail from your vast experience running a multi-billion dollar company why Tim Cook running Apple spells doom

Whenever a new Apple patent is published, make sure to mention that someone else has already done it and there's no way Apple's method is novel

Demand a Mac Mini refresh! (last year, this would have been Mac Pro)

Demand an App Store for the AppleTV!

Make "bend" references in response to any Apple story posted

Please google "IPS 4K display." I challenge you to find me an IPS 4K display at 60hz for less than $2,000...and that is JUST FOR A DISPLAY. Not a high-end computer behind the display.

The Dell UP2414Q is available for 480£ new from Amazon. That's IGZO IPS.

Isn't it just a joke about how it's only been a few weeks since they called all the media to a special event?

I agree with this 100%. They are just attempting a little humor here. No secret messages. No code. Just a little joke because they recently had a large media event and now they are already inviting everyone to another event.

For any portal fans, in portal 2, GLaDOS says it's been a long time, apple said its been too long, thus GLaDOS is replacing Siri!

----------

Yup, like Apple Watch and Mac Pro or Swift...No, these didn't have any leak.

That's because they were announced before apple began producing them

I'd think that would be more likely if they didn't do this every year.

Now that I got my 6 Plus, I have no need for iPad whatsoever. This phone is so incredible. Now all I need to buddy up with it is a MacPad Pro and I'm good. Ok, maybe an iMac Touch in the other room :)

Steve's back!

Steve is back for his first keynote, and it's been way too long.

Possibilities:

1) Steve didn't die, but was gravely ill, so decided was in best interest of Apple to fake his death until he recovered or did die

2) He was cryogenically frozen and Apple has discovered how to reanimate him and heal him.

3) Apple has resurrected him via a hologram, like Tupac, but Steve won't be singing, just delivering a part of the presentation.

Which ever it is, you can bet the audience will wet themselves en masse. :D

For a more realistic and rational suggestion... Mac mini updates and/or the Apple television. Considering Steve said he solved that over three years ago, we have waited way too long for it.
