And subsequently get dropped off the mailing list and NDA product demo/review list?

That person would be standing in line with the Great Unwashed on launch day to get their hands on a unit.

Yes, smart move for a media professional.

Clearly you have put some thought into this scenario.

Sure I prefer to stand with the crowd and pretend the Emperor is wearing cloths. My comment is insightful and well reasoned.

See? This is why Apple "supporters" get pointed at. The product is bad, I don't like it, might aswell buy it anyway "LOL".

No no no. Don’t get it twisted. I’m not going to pass on the new iPhone because I think the black patch is ugly. The rest of the phone looks good, the OS is awesome, camera quality is excellent etc etc.

I never said the product itself is bad or that I don’t like it.

I doubt it will happen, but I would love for a surprise collaboration with Nintendo with the Apple Arcade, and have all Nintendo's virtual console titles, or at least the classic edition titles be available on the Apple Arcade.

Or maybe some good games ported to the tvOS.

Better yet, a new ATV with a A13X and bundled controller with the things above, and a year's Apple Arcade sub for less than $300 would make me very happy.
I hope the PS4 controllers on ATF means Playstation Now is coming to ATV soon. That would be amazing.

I try to keep my expectations reasonable. I'll be happy if there are new Sport Loop watchbands for the Watch. :D

I don't see how is it any different from anything you already got on your XS Max but carry on... Your money anyway.

Short-list of "Off the Radar" topics that Apple could announce on Sept 10th:

Support for P3 PQ & P3 HLG on the 2nd-Gen XS & XS Max (both Capture & Display).

f/2.2 aperture Telephoto Lens on the 2nd-Gen XR, XS, & XS Max.

Upgraded Front Camera on the 2nd-Gen XR, XS, & XS Max (10 Mpx HDR image sensor).

Extra GB of DRAM in the 2nd-Gen XR (here, Apple actually announce this; others will figure it out during the Embargo)

Yes... add more lenses..
Is it still iPhone or iCamera???

What is this camera madness in phones???
Or resolution and screen size...
It's a phone!!! :))

How about lowering prices and innovation on the battery consumption.
Maybe some form factor change. Maybe a cool phone without that ugly blotch of cameras on the back???
Maybe a phone that doesn't heat up so fast?
Common Tim... sticking to my iPhone 7 plus till it dies otherwise.

The new iPhone will be announced for sure, but I wonder if they will also announce the rumoured, over the ear headphones or the new AirPods.

Either way I think I will upgrade from my X to a 11 Max or whatever they call the 6.5” version.

If the new models are going to have a matte finish why the hell are the mockups in clear glass??!! I was hoping to have an idea of what the actual matte finish looks like!

Glad that they are keeping yellow, but but I was hoping for orange as well. And the red doesn’t seem to be the regular red.

Excited for what’s coming, but the last few keynotes became boring because the whole thing were pretty much leaked the day before. We used to get leaks of a product, but not the whole lineup. Hopefully Apple can store a few surprises. The mini 5 was a good one.

Well... it has begun. As Joker once said, "And here....we.....go...."

Just use the gif!

Ahh, yes, this is the time of year where others want to scream being negative at Apple (It somehow makes them feel better). Fortunately, it’s just the usual typical banter on here that translates to nothing, but nonetheless, there are those who actually look forward to this event that want to see what products are offered before we scrutinize anything ahead of the keynote.

Just 10 years ago we didn’t have apps, we couldn’t record video, and we couldn’t send picture messages. Get a grip. People are so spoiled. And, shocker, you’re more than welcome to keep your current device.

But we can now and because of that fact we can't have things innovating forward? We just keeping thanking companies for coming up with something 10 years ago?
