I'd love to see what the invite-analysers will make of this

Means , "we are going to go around in circles over and over trying to understand why another round of almost the same thing again, and "this is the best iPhone as ever made""

Jokes aside, that refers to the format of the new Apple Campus, is already is other blogs about the meaning.

Apple is finally releasing a rotary phone!

There you go!

Lol, the invite image is simply the Apple Park's structure.
People trying to find their own meanings when there's none.

OR....what if the new mini uses the same basic concept (smaller, natch) as taught by the MacPro Trashcan, remembering that the expandability of a mini is not so much of a requirement as was the Trasher. Or the same basic design with, perhaps 1 - 4 plug-in / drop-in cores for expandability?

Looks like a home button. A bit ironic because this will be the death of the home button.

Yeah- I think the poster (black background) looks like it is in memoriam for the Home button, good bye to Home Buttons for new iPads no more home buttons for all iPhones

This might be it, actually. Home button ending its venerable journey.

(Haven't missed it on my X at all, btw)

Today I woke up thinking, hey it's almost september already and Apple has not sent the invites. Just in time.

The circle is about how they now say bye to the home button thats been since the first iphone..

Remember when Apple used to tease cool new features of the latest iPhone in the invites? Now the new products are such tiny updates they now just put the damn building on the invites. Such a boring company.

So sad that Apple users do not expect that much anymore. They get happy when they bump the speed of a processor and do minor internal upgrades and Animojis...

True Innovation has been dead for quite a while. Look at the iMac deisgn, not upgraded in 10 years. Mac Pro same thing,

OK. The gather round invite must be referring to the new apple watch with a round case! you heard it first (and last) here!

No, I don't think so. It refers to the new Apple Park building and the Steve Jobs theater.

Looking forward to upgrading to the new iPad Pro! Can't wait! :D

This may have already been said in one of the previous 250+ comments, but that round shape in the invite makes me wonder if we're actually looking at the new health-related sensors on the underside of the Apple Watch. Total speculation (obviously), but imagine the gold ring is the new health sensor and the black "doughnut hole" in the middle is the existing heart rate sensor just blacked out to make the tease more abstract.
