in before someone suggests "gather round" means round apple watches
...
(it'll never happen)
I wouldn't say "never". But if Apple eventually go with a round watch, I hope it will be in the distant future. I like my smartwatches with a good design and rectangular. If I want an good designed, round watch, I would buy a regular watch.

I think they will shove it all in one event. This years's iOS 12 aren't much of a feature release, and more of performance and fine tuning, which means much less demo. They should be able to fit through the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac all in 2 hours time slot.
I agree they should be able to. I am looking for a new phone at the moment and will wait for these to come out if I need to

Guys,

I have a snarky feeling it will be everything but the iPad Pro just a feeling we will not see on the Sept-12 event !!

.... For incremental updates if you currently has the first generation iPhone X to upgrade to the second generation.
..... For less than 1 inch (0.7) larger with incremental and slight changes in RAM and battery life if you have the first generation iPhone X to upgrade to X plus

Any new color will not a big deal if the intention is to put the “s” iPhone X in a case covering the new color.

Ooh, wow, look at you. Hey, guess what, I’m on the Apple upgrade program, so I’m going SAVE money by getting a new phone, by dropping my monthly prices down since the prices of the phones, including the Plus, are much lower. So yeah, I’m perfectly fine with an incremental update, more RAM, bigger screen, and better battery life, all for a lower price. :)

Its in reference to the Steve Jobs Center where the presentation is I think.

Anyway, I think if the iPad mini doesn't get a refresh by the end of this year, then it will probably be discontinued.

Apple will be releasing the MacBook Round.

Guys,

The iPad Pro is an IOS product we are more than likely going to see it at the September event, Mac’s i’m not too sure about it all depends how much they want to announce.

Gold eh? I wonder how many morons are regretting their Series 0 $10,000 dollar gold Apple Watches. Outdated, slow, no longer gets AppleOS updates...

I don’t really think the new iPads will be unveiled at this event or if they will they will probably only be released after October 2nd. The back to school promo is still running until that day on the majority of the European countries and there’s no way they’ll release new iPads in time for people to grab a pair of free Beats as well

-It's the open end of a headphone jack.
-Thunderbolt 4 will have a circular connector that has no orientation because it's just optical. Cables will be $200/ft and break in 6 months.
-Mac Mini Pro looks like the original Airport Extreme.
-iMac Pro redesign will look like the iMac G4 or a 5k monitor atop the current Mac Pro.

All new as yet unannounced device. This is going to be some center of the home device, possibly with wireless networking.

This is probably just a reference to the Apple spaceship but if we're gonna speculate :

What do bloggers and journalist do at such events ?

They gather around a new product in a glass case and look at it.

It looks like the sensor array on the back of the watch case. Apple were rumored to be adding blood sugar monitoring on the first watch. It's like the holy grail of health monitoring. I bet this is some kind of new skin sensor.

Why the negativity? Then I suggest you don’t watch the keynote then. Because others are interested to see what Apple has to offer, as it’s always interesting to see the newest hardware and specs.

As for your comment about Tim Cook, I would say he is doing a stellar job all the way around. (<—Pun intended for media invite circle.)

I'm with you - I'm pretty excited for this one actually - mainly to see the new Apple Watch - My phone is going to last another year, but thought about upgrading my Series 2 watch...
