iPhone SE 2 & iPad mini 5

You must have some small hands.

I'm thinking the image is just saying how this is the first iPhone event at the new campus. Can't imagine what else round has to do with anything.

I will play with it at the store and thats it. My X has probably 5 years left in it; in fact, my brother just upgraded from a iPhone 5 to 5s a year ago and he is still using it.

Would be more interested in getting a new Mac Mani to replace my half broken HP Workstation.

If the invite is hinting at a gold with black front iPhone X, I may consider getting the gold version for the first time since the iPhone 5s.
Gosh, so many things it could be. In the past they have done iPhone/iPad stuff in September, then did a follow up event either in October/November for Mac stuff... could this be that type of Fall?
The iPhone gets its own dedicated event in September, followed by an event in October to refresh some other products like iPads and Macs before the holiday shopping season. It seems likely that will happen again this year.

Round Apple Watch?
RIP to the Home Button?
More than likely just a graphic of the Mother Ship.

I like the bronze color. If that’s the new gold shade for the iPhone, I’m all on it.

Calendar marked and ready! I’m starting a new job that Monday. Fortunately the time is right when it would make sense to have a lunch break. I’ll watch an hour and check with Macrumors the rest of the time. I know you all won’t let me down!

Why aren’t they releasing the new phones in Noember? They want us to shell out an extra 2 to 3 payments just to upgrade early? Perhaps they should’ve released the X last year in September.

I can't see the connection between the circle (which is clearly a representation of Apple's new HQ) and a round Apple Watch or rounded iPad displays, etc. It's the first time the event takes place there after the actual transfer of Apple from Infinite Loop to Apple Park, hence the invites' imagery and tag line.

Hopefully they won't make round Apple Watches that would look ugly.

A lot of talk about what ‘round’ refers to.....

It’s referring to the rounded displays on all products to be announced at the event.

My first thought of seeing the circle was looking down on the Mac Pro. Nah.
Referencing the new Apple campus makes more sense.

I think they will shove it all in one event. This years's iOS 12 aren't much of a feature release, and more of performance and fine tuning, which means much less demo. They should be able to fit through the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac all in 2 hours time slot.
