What if they have convinced the carriers to forgive those 2 to 3 months to those who have an iPhone X AND upgrade this year on launch day. They certainly can do this with their own program.

It's nice to dream, right?

iPhone 0. :p

Maybe a round dial series 4.

Or, maybe a complete iOS ecosystem (all iOS devices) refresh, therefore the round.

Gather round sounds like something related to a hub. Interesting.

Oh, and something to do with the color of the invite to be incorporated in the devices.

Weird on Wednesday. Then pre order less than 2 days ?
Usually the events are on Tuesday, but pushed up to Wednesday when necessary to avoid holding it on 9/11.
Guys, this *obviously* is a reference to Apple's new campus design -- nothing more. I mean, look at the graphic!
To me the colors are definitely hinting at a gold with black front iPhone X. :)

Apple's low-cost iPhone, which could be priced around $700...

Low cost? It is more like lower-cost, as they still sell these and once the new 2018 batch is released the prices below should be lowered even more:

iPhone 8 - 699$
iPhone 7 - 549$
iPhone 6S - 449$
iPhone SE - 349$

It will be interesting to see what happens do 6S and SE after the event.

Or it could mean an update all around (mac mini, iMac, home pod, watch, AirPods, phones, MacBook and last but not least accessories).

I would think the 6S will be discontinued while the SE will stay for the low budget/small device.

Have not they built a factory in India to specifically build 6S or something? From a technical point makes total sense, though, as 7 is way better with the same screen size.

While my guess (and hope) is for a round version Apple Watch, the HomePod is also round. They might round out the lineup by introducing a HomePod Mini.
