I will be in the US by the end of September. I am aware they don’t sell sim-free versions until a few months later but can anyone buy a T-Mobile iPhone or do I need to show some kind of US citizen proof?

I will be in LA, SF and most of the time in Hawaii. Does Hawaii have an apple store too?

Did anyone guess this date?

Yes cuz preorders supposedly start on the 15th in Germany

Apple Watch Series 5 and iPhone X Plus.... take my money. I'll stick to my 10.5 iPad Pro unless there's a new one that makes me moist.

To be honest with you, it looks like just as an improved Apple Watch crown...

Round = home buttons and headphone jacks. Clearly these will be important for Apple going forward.

Maybe this is the solid state Digital Crown with an embedded Sensor or this is the new back of the watch with a new sensor. But this MUST be a part of an otherwise rectangular watch.

I will play with it at the store and thats it. My X has probably 5 years left in it; in fact, my brother just upgraded from a iPhone 5 to 5s a year ago and he is still using it.

Would be more interested in getting a new Mac Mani to replace my half broken HP Workstation.
If he’s on Verizon he should get at least the iPhone 6. They are phasing out their CDMA voice network in favor of VoLTE. The first iPhone that supported VoLTE was the iPhone 6.

There's definitely a hint here. The expression is "gather around", but they're playing on words and replacing it with "round".
The idiom “gather round” is acceptable as well, although it’s more British than American.

I don’t take it as an indication of “round products,” merely an aknowledgement that this is the first media event with Apple Park completed. And of course the Steve Jobs theater is round, too.

It's getting to the point that a current-generation iPhone can last 4 or 5 years before needing to be upgraded, so that helps to balance out the fact they seem to be getting more expensive (at least on the high-end).

Not sure why some people still see the need to upgrade every year. Isn't it more exciting to receive several generations of improvements at once?

If everything goes according to the rumors from many people that means that someone at Apple does not know how to keep a secret. Who knows Apple may throw a curve ball and surprise everyone with something totally different..

Why aren’t they releasing the new phones in Noember? They want us to shell out an extra 2 to 3 payments just to upgrade early? Perhaps they should’ve released the X last year in September.
What if they have convinced the carriers to forgive those 2 to 3 months to those who have an iPhone X AND upgrade this year on launch day. They certainly can do this with their own program.
