Most people know the event is happening but the real question should be does anyone other than Apple evangelists actually care about these events anymore?
The events were all right in their day but come on people things move on and there's precious little left to whoop and holler about anymore. I would personally prefer 30 minutes in the dentist chair than sit through another Apple event.![]()
What delicious irony... Lol.. The ridiculous notion of privacy issues I imagine is the reason why you choose to stay away from big G, so you for go YouTube, Google maps and g mail.. ??, but continue to use search.. Where they have your data and can send you targeted adds. Lol.. Brilliant..Nice Google ad, bro. Plugging an hdmi cable into the tv and a power cord into the wall IS so much harder. Some of us enjoy being Google ecosystem free (except for search, that is)
For the past several years Apple has held separate events for iPhone and iPad.No mention about the iPad Pro? Interesting.
Will be interesting to see what they've done with the Apple TV, but I'll laugh if they don't announce a new Apple TV.
Except Apple already mentioned at WWDC that Siri on iOS was getting the Apple Watch interface. It most likely simply means the Siri interface on the iPhone is being changed to match Apple Watch. There will be iPhones introduced, no iPads, and possibly no Apple TV. The large venue is likely to be an Apple Music event. Watch how disappointed everyone will be.
Your bad what? Grammar?.Forgot to mention I am the sorcerer Merlin, my bad.
Please don't try to "decipher" the picture, that nonsense has to stop. Apple has never gave us hints ont he invites, that's just what fanboys think.
Your bad what? Grammar?.
Very possible it was made in the USA like the Mac Pro - which was a surprise to all.I'm getting worried that their might not be an Apple TV update...the lack of supply chain leaks is surprising.
Well obviously the different colors around the zoomed in Apple logo represent Siri's colorful interface on Apple Watch. Also though, maybe I'm looking too much into the pic but Apple does like to give hints hidden in invitations. If you think of the stem of the apple as a finger, you can then picture the different colors as the screen and the "finger" pushing down representing force touch...or maybe not
As predicted in August, Apple is planning to hold a media event on Wednesday, September 9 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California. Media invites were sent out today, with Yahoo's Alyssa Bereznak sharing the first look at the artwork and tagline for the invitations: "Hey Siri, give us a hint."
This year's iPhone-centric event is expected to see the debut of the next-generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, which, according to rumors, will include a reinforced body constructed from stronger 7000 Series aluminum, Force Touch, an A9 processor, 2GB RAM, and an improved camera.
Rumors have also suggested Apple will use the event to unveil the next-generation Apple TV, a major update from the existing set-top box. It will include a redesigned chassis with an A8 processor, more storage space, and a touch-based remote control, along with a new software system that includes Siri support and a full App Store.
We'll also get an update on the launch dates of iOS 9 and watchOS 2, and shortly after the event ends, we may see golden master software releases for the two software updates ahead of their final public launch.
In line with past events, the September 9 iPhone unveiling will begin at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Apple has not yet confirmed whether the event will be live streamed on its website and through the Apple TV, but it is likely details on a live stream will be announced a few days ahead of the event.
Update: Siri itself is also getting in on the festivities with some witty responses.

Update 2: Apple will be live streaming the media event on the web for Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and PC users.

On this page: http://www.apple.com/apple-events/september-2015/Is there a calendar event we can download to add to iCal?
And so does Apple Pay. Once you login you are good to go. Until you remove it from your wrist.Siri on AppleWatch is amazing... For whatever reason works demonstrably better !

I really could care less what Apple is going to show in the coming days. I think Apple's products are getting tired just as Google products are getting tired as well. We need a new breath of fresh air from a new innovated company that can be inspiring and totally thinks out of the box. It was fun with Apple and google but it’s time for someone else to take the reigns and go forward. Thanks
What exactly do you mean by the bold?you know what would make this event really special - upgrades to the mac pro, a professional version of the iMac, retina macbook airs (and cheaper than the present models), and maybe something bout a phone.
and lets not forget the apple tv, the mouse, and aperture level upgrades to photos.
