No one knows for sure.Very excited!
Can anyone tell me when we can expect to be able to watch the keynote online?
As a long time Apple stockholder, I seriously beg to differ.![]()
No one knows for sure.
Historically, Apple posts video to its website a day or two later. They don't stream video from their live events.
As with other product announcements, you should be able to follow the proceedings via liveblogging from the standard tech media sources (Cnet, Engadget, Gizmodo, etc.).
Actually, I'm just happy not to see the word beleaguered in every article about Apple.
Something tells me to advise you to stop responding to these posts for the next week, if you want to remain sane. Instead, start amassing posts like those to quote on the 27th.
Read again. I said I am hoping there is SOMETHING for me on the 27th. I am not saying a tablet would replace my macbook. I did not buy the macbook late in the cycle. My girlfriend received one FOR FREE for her scholarship. I had a MBP 2.6 since it came out in JUNE 2009. We just traded. I now have the 2.8 + a 14 day return if i want to.
so your gf gave you a 14 day return policy?? lol. just keep your laptop man, nothing to get all worried about.
me, i'm looking forward to the new technology.
My left-brain is telling me not to get overexcited and ultimately disappointed on the evening of the 27th.
My right-brain is jizzing itself.
I'm an artist and the invitation image spells content creation as a main selling point in my humble opinion ;-)
If the product does content creation (hopefully as responsive as sketchbook pro on a Wacom), and does it well, I'm sold!
All the other consumer ebook/web stuff will come as standard but in an apple refined fashion.
Wonders if the image was actually created on the device/software itself?
Isn't icom a popular Japanese radio communications manufacturer?

Invoke-Full-name-of-your-favorite-Diety-here, folks....
Take a breath, people. Calm down. Relax. Lower your guard just a bit.
It's only a device... non-materialism... non-materialism... higher consciousness... oommmm...ooommm...
(are they relaxed? Guard dropped a bit? Good, then I'll just slip by them in line, here at the ol'Store, and scoop up one of these AmazingAwesomeFreakishlyCoolWunderKindE-gasm devices while they are meditating... mwa ha ha ha ha!!!!)
Why is it labeled as an "creative" event when all signs point to the tablet being a media consumption device?
Oh? You have proof of a tablet? Where? I wanna see!
Everybody is speculating. What if it's not a tablet?
There's a lot of hints pointing at a tablet but we could all be just taking the hints the wrong way.
Remember when everyone was CERTAIN the iPhone nano was going to come out?
Nope. Never even heard of an iPhone Nano. I think if Apple don't unveil a tablet, people will be very disappointed with whatever they do unveil.
Well after the event you can make a People Who Wanted the iSlate to Run "Full" Mac OS X Instead of an iPhone OS Variant: Come HereHaha, ya. I haven't been giving in much lately, but it boggles my mind that some people still think they will get Mac OS X on this thing!I just am not looking forward to these delusional people all whining after the event!
Oh well... I am EXCITED!![]()
This was up briefly and Apple took it down. Looks like we have to wait for the tablet/slate device.
