I hope they preview iOS 5. Android Honeycomb looks pretty slick. But I bet apple has a few tricks up it's sleeve.
Yay, only 1 more week until we can read all the posts by people who are disappointed by the features of the iPad 2.

I'd be highly surprised if that is the new iPad. They can't give out a picture of it yet... It would spoil the surprise. That's iPad 1.I'm a little disappointed about the size of that bezel. I was hoping they would get it about half that size.
You apparently have missed WebOS and Honeycomb videos and demos.
That graphic is not very good. Very "un-apple." Does that added reflection extend off the edge of the iPad? Did the designers forget how to design once Steve left? Maybe this image just looks bad ripped out of it's context? So many questions...
They are still around, doing their jobs to pour as much cold water on Apple as they can credibly get away with. Now that they were proven wrong that no one would want an iPad, they have switched gears and are steadily predicting that no one will want an iPad unless it has . . . well, whatever it is that they are pushing this month. Retina display? Flog that idea. Camera? Been pushing that idea for a long time.
When iPad 2 comes out, these will be the folks who will ignore the good parts and instead focus on every perceived flaw they can find.

I'm just hoping this event offers a preview of iOS 5 w/ a revamped push notification system. The current notification system is terrible.
We are still waiting for iOS 4.3, so I expect we will get that - and OSX 10.6.7 to go with it.I hope they preview iOS 5. Android Honeycomb looks pretty slick. But I bet apple has a few tricks up it's sleeve.![]()
That "reflection" beyond the edge of the iPad is just the actual edge of the image background. The image ends there. Look at the other corner above "March": same thing. Just looks odd because most sites have the image against a white background in a column formatted wider than the image.
+1000 Modal popups need to go bye bye.![]()
Be grateful: we might have had to wait until 2022!Should have been done on the 2nd February.
Nonsense. The average person doesn't care about that. The thing will sell like crazy.

no statement is true unless it has more than 100 exclamation marks.
It will be the year of disappointment if they don't deliver the 2X resolution screen.
I realize (or at least hope) you're joking, but there's no such thing as "good" grammar--there's just an arbitrary standard, although on top of that we have such nonsense prescriptivist rules as the one you're mentioning. I mean, seriously, are they supposed to say "Come see of what 2011 will be the year"?
That's true.false!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mad HTML skillz.![]()
So, a fairly obvious hint that this is the new iPad in the picture. And we also notice the only icon that is visible is the Maps icon. Something new with maps? Apple rolling out their own service?
