THANK YOU. Apple didn't all of the sudden realize they didn't have LTE in their phones and say "Oh sh**, Android has LTE we better catch up." They waited for a more efficient LTE chip (the new one from Qualcomm) so they could offer the service to more users (LTE networks are on their way to becoming the norm) while not sacrificing on their precious efficiency (Apple seems to value this above all else - case-in-point the A5X dual core with quad core graphics outperforming the Tegra 3).
LTE is going to be around for a long time before true 5G hits (next 7ish years). It's not like they are adding it only to see something new hit next year...
No problem. As an Android user (having had the Vibrant, Nexus S, EVO) and current iPhone 4S owner, I rather have something stable and a 'standard' than new crap any day.
Does anyone not remember battery life issue with the Thunderbolt?
