omg omg omg i'm ready for the 13 in rMBP and iMac :D oh yeah and the iPad mini too lol

Funny if by 'a little' they meant a few little updates to the iMac, Mac Pro and Mac Mini, but they didn't actually release any new products. The rage here would be funny.

The graphic looks like a football above a giant ass.

Is the football going in or on its way out?

That's not a football, it's a handegg. :p

And so it begins.......

Still think it's going to be expensive. As for the iPad 3, I think they will do nothing for it, maybe fit Lightning connector, the big refresh with A6 and thinner design etc will be next year.

And will the new iMacs have a showing? If they are a new design?

For them to interest me in an iPad mini, it would need at minimum the same screen res as the Kindle Fire HD, 16GB of storage but 32GB preferably, Gorilla Glass laminated display, dual band WiFi, a single core A6 with dual core graphics or better, and all that for 200 UK Sterling.

But I would predict that a spec like that would be 250 or 300 UK Sterling.

The problem I see is that the iPod Touch starts at £250, so pricing an iPad mini at that point would infuriate quite a few people...

Most people probably shouldn't. The target group for the mini is going to be people who wanted a lower price point or a smaller device, not people that already own a regular iPad.

At $250, it can be a carry around device for many for taking knocks and providing fun for young ones. It might just be cheap and light enough to convince some to get it just as a bed reader where iPad can be a bit heavy when you try to hold it lying down.

The big advantage I see is that it'll share all the apps and content with your existing iPad. My family already switch between desktop PCs and different laptops around the house and can imagine the same with iPad eventually.

Extimendo my friend. And that's why come Father Christmas day I'll be unwrapping a Nexus 7 or Fire HD. Because here in good ol blighty I can only see the new Mini starting at best from the same £250 range but more realistically from £300, ESPECIALLY if they ditch the iPad 2, mind you, if they start from £250 and actually have the balls to give it 8GB of ram I'll laugh hard..

They're announcing the change back to the rainbow Apple logo instead of the current monochrome one. Also, a new line of Performas.

Keynote :
- great iphones sales numbers, thank you
- sorry for map
- mac line refresh (mini, retina 13, imacs)
- new ipad a6 lightning igzo
- sorry for ipad3 owners :D
- books
- one more "mini book reader" thing

I think the only thing your forgot was the pricing. Otherwise, you nailed it.

Clearly the word "little" was chosen to suggest that they'll be announcing a smaller iPad.

What isn't so obvious is that they're actually going to be mixing that word into the name of the new, smaller iPad:

the lil'iPad, pronounced "lily pad"
