Wish. We could tell you more.

Recall the familiar phrase, "Your wish is my command."

"Wish" is the new wearable product's name. It can control everything connected via HomeKit, HealthKit, etc. It can respond to voice commands via Siri. It can trigger various commands based on proximity and location awareness. At last, Apple is offering personal genies -- no bottle or lamp required.

----------

At the end of the presentation, Tim Cook will pause dramatically, look out over the audience, and say, "You always wish we could tell you more. Well, there is one more thing…"

After the crowd settles down, he will introduce something truly remarkable.

[Okay that's four ideas -- I'm done!]

An event JUST for NFC?

I am being sarcastic but seriously, bring more to the table. Old technology is not a 'groundbreaking' feature.

it's about the implementation pf technology ....

Yeah, I agree.

They'll only announce the next-gen iPhone and the iWatch, nothing special at all.

they are only going to announce the 2 biggest products of 2014 period.
and one of those products will probably be the biggest new product of all time worldwide ever...

yea nothing special ..

Definitely something new coming - same venue the mac was introduced

what? what mac?

I'VE SAID IT BEFORE..... I think this is why they changed the caller ID picture on iOS 7 to the small circle icon. It's because this is how your contacts will be displayed on your iWatch. Also,it's how you'll be able to scroll through and dial a favorite contact from your iWatch. Just simply touch their small contact pic.

By the way....this is a total guess. I know nothing

I don't have any contact pictures

we (everyone including the users) wish we could say more (and type less)

so the iWatch will be voice driven (siri)

Siri-offline surprise iOS8 feature as well?

or surprise feature of the iWatch is can only be used online ;)

What if the "9" means that they're going to call the iphone, "iPhone 9"
iPhone 2G - 1st generation
iPhone 3G - 2nd generation
iPhone 3Gs - 3rd generation
iPhone 4 - 4th generation
iPhone 4s - 5th generation
iPhone 5 - 6th generation
iPhone 5c - 7th generation
iPhone 5s - 8th generation
new iPhone - 9th generation

close but it is actually:
iPhone 2G - 1st generation
iPhone 3G - 2nd generation
iPhone 3Gs - 3rd generation
iPhone 4 - 4th generation
iPhone 4s - 5th generation
iPhone 5c - 6th generation - with new Case
iPhone 5s - 7th generation
new iPhone - 8th generation

Meet the new Mac Mini.

I wish!

You don't have any pictures attached to your contacts?

Hah!

They successfully cloned Steve Jobs and they're ready to reveal him for the first time.

"Wish we could say more."

Clone Baby Steve is still learning to talk, so all he can say so far is "Jony"

Lil' Steve's first product design was actually the rainbow-bright iPhone 5C series.

You've made my day thank you! So fun and so random, but so witty and smart for sure.

(snip)

You really might want to read some more history. I'm thinking that fire, the printing press, Velcro, microwave ovens, hey-even the zipper (to name just a few off the top of my head) would qualify as "the biggest new product of all time worldwide"

On topic, first thing I saw when I read 'Wish we could say more' was the Pink Floyd album 'Wish You Were Here'. Now it's running through my head constantly. Glad I love the album, otherwise it would be a bummer all day.

Ok I need to vent! Seriously i gotta say im as excited as anyone else about what Apple's doing but i feel like the hype is really overkill this year, and lately for that matter. In the past, blogs would go crazy about rumors and whatnot close to announcements and that was fine. If i wanted to join the gossip I'd come here and join in...

But now its gotten so mainstream its really getting too ridiculous. Invitations go out and its on the front page of every news site in a few hours. Seriously??! Its just a freakin invitation!! Cool it people! Nothings even out yet! Anyone feel me on this... it feels like everyone and their mom seems to know about this.

“Wish we could say more” is 5 words. One iPhone is 5.5”, the other is 4.7”, but both are near 5”. 5 words=5”. This could also mean that they will only have one size of iPhone, 5". No 5.5 or 4.7", just 5".

Calm down. The invitation just out, and it's from Apple, it bounds to excite people. On the contrary, I think aside from the Mac community, the hype on the actual products is actually pretty tame this year. Triple down? There is no leak for watch, and even iPhone leaks are all prototypes or fakes which you can't 100% confirmed their genuineness.
