Last year the invitation focused on the colors of the 5c. This year I believe it's focusing on an input paradigm, voice based.

"Wish we could say more," suggesting that the iWatch or iPhone 6 will be heavily focused on voice recognition, environmental awareness of noise, (Shazam integration for example)

Everyone will have thought it was referencing their secrecy, when really it's referencing the voice capabilities of whatever will be unveiled.

All of those things you just mentioned are technologies or product lines. With many different products, no single product launch being close to as big as the iPhone 5S

And surely the iPhone 6 will surpass the 5S

I guess my statement went right over your head. Let me try again:

The iPhone 5S was a nice product. The iPhone 6 will undoubtedly be a nice product. But in no way is either "the biggest new product of all time worldwide".

And note, I'm quoting you.

Even the iPhone 'product line' hardly qualifies as 'the biggest new product of all time worldwide'. Dozens of 'products' have had a greater effect of humanity. As I noted in my first post, even zippers have been bigger and I will hazard to guess even the lowly zipper has generated more money over it's lifespan than an iPhone.

My observations:

1. They left the time of the event off the invitation. "Wish we could say more". = iWatch

2. The leaf in the Apple logo and the shadow clearly resembles a sun dial. = iWatch

(if I'm reading the sun dial correctly, it indicates 10am in summer time)

It's a double-meaning . . .

. . . As per usual. So what are they going to be doing that involves speech?

It could be a major upgrade to Siri, allowing better voice interfacr. Maybe Siri will finally be able to listen to the correct pronunciation of a word, which would be REALLY useful here in Oklahoma, where we have place names like Tahlequah, Muskogee, Poteau, and Ochelata. Mandy's the time I have had to try to figure out what Siri wants me to say in my pronunciation, just so she can tell me how to get to Poteau. (The best I have been able to manage is "Pot-Ow," when in fact it ought to be "Poe-Toe.")

An upgrade to Siri, or at least the ability to spell words out for her . . . This would be a welcome improvement and would "allow me to say more."

I guess we are defining bigger differently, I am not saying the iPhone 5S or the iPhone 6 will have the biggest effect on humanity, I am saying these products have more opening day/weekend/month sales than any other product in history worldwide...
feel free to prove me wrong

like I said the iPhone 6 will be the biggest new product launch of all time worldwide

The apple's stem with shadow = active stylus for iPad
"wish we could say more" = what will be announced is all interconnected so much so that revealing one item will reveal them all. :D

How I wish that would be true! Lack of good stylus support is one of my most wanted features!

No you're right. What I can't wait for is all the 5S owners lining up because their phone is SOOOOOOO SLOW! Meanwhile, I'm not unhappy with my 4S, though I think I'll treat myself this year. ;)

So full of it. That's so obviously fake (it doesn't even use the right font), plus I analyzed the image myself and found nothing.

Plus: If Apple calls anything 'iWatch' I'll eat my socks.

They trademarked the name in some countries. I'd wash them socks just in case. :p

Flip "9.9" over and you get 6.6, alluding to the iPhone 6.

How many 6 are total? 2.

Meaning 2 different models for the iPhone 6, 4.7" and 5.5"!

Not sure if anyone mentioned it already, because I'm reading all the comments to collect hints, lol, anyway, Apple always has their events at 10 AM Paciffic Time (1 Eastern), thus they could be hinting at time, the wish we could say more is saying that they can't tell you the time, but it's shown, like how a watch shows but doesn't tell you the time. I'm just exploding with excitement right now!!!!

Poteau is a french word and most of these are Native American words, plus you have local pronounciation of those words that mix english plus who knows what... Man, your asking a lot from poor old Siri. BTW, Im french speaking and Siri does understand french, though probably not all Native American Dialects ;-).

Actually had you said it like that ("biggest new product launch of all time worldwide") I would not have posted originally. That statement is quite a bit different from "the biggest new product of all time worldwide".

I guess you just left out the word 'launch'. By adding that word I just might agree with you.

iWatch Confirmed?

Its honestly quite obvious this year.

Apple made it too easy this time around IMO.

If you notice the sphere patterns Apple is prone to using in their OS, you can quickly tell it intersects geometrically at the point where S1, S2, and S3 connect, it matches up so conveniently with the the cross section of the 4, and is of course centered around the 6 since its the iPhone 6. Theres two sixes to represent the two phones which is also why the 2 is there. The 14 in 2014 upside down looks like a 4.7 as well

Also if you look at "say" upside down it looks like a message to all the doubters about the 5.5 its saying "YES" like its actually happening finally!!! So exciting!!!!
