Im pretty sure that these apple posters the past years have been the worlds most analysed "pictures". The amount of thought process used to analyse these posters surpass all other.

Waz and jobs on acid....Waz stood on the toilet in the next toiletstall and took picture of jobs ass while he was taking a dumb. Then they ran it through photoshop

The great thing about this site is the "buyer's guide", located in a tab at the top of the screen. Go to that page, and it will tell you the release date of every Apple product.

Macbook Pro released: 10/13, 2/13, 6/12, 10/11, 2/11, 4/10, 6/09, 10/08, 2/08

MBA released: 6/13, 6/12, 7/11, 10/10,6/09,10/08.

So, no precedence for a Sept release.

But the iPhone event has not always been in Sept. Combined iPhone/laptop events: 10/2011, 6/2009. So it could happen at the iPhone event.

But I doubt it.

I do think the rotation is now: iPhone (Sept), laptop (Oct), iPad (Nov).

Nope. iPad with Macs. And Mac - 2 laptops, 3 desktops ;-)

Out of interest, have invites/posters from previous years ever actually been 'cracked' to show an/the actual hidden (Da Vinci like!) meaning?

Its honestly quite obvious this year.

Apple made it too easy this time around IMO.

If you notice the sphere patterns Apple is prone to using in their OS, you can quickly tell it intersects geometrically at the point where S1, S2, and S3 connect, it matches up so conveniently with the the cross section of the 4, and is of course centered around the 6 since its the iPhone 6. Theres two sixes to represent the two phones which is also why the 2 is there. The 14 in 2014 upside down looks like a 4.7 as well

Also if you look at "say" upside down it looks like a message to all the doubters about the 5.5 its saying "YES" like its actually happening finally!!! So exciting!!!!

Well played.

Wish we could say more.

If you interpret it as a broader statement, as something that many users have wished for, they'll introduce an iWatch mainly controlled by voice. Great and fairly logical.

We may even get a peek at the new Apple TV, which supposedly also has voice control because that's what people interpreted Jobs' remark that he 'finally cracked the interface' to mean.

wish they could say more...

...maybe it's wwdc all over again? an event packed with so much stuff that they have to cut some corners just to get to each and every product in their presentation?

Can anyone confirm if they put up the event videos on Apple TV?

I hope so, but iPhone 5S announcement wasn't streamed live so we cannot be sure.
Basically this event is free advertising for them, so I don't see a reason why they should avoid the live streaming.

Some of the interpretations I've seen here and on other sites are hilarious, some are so far-fetched, and some absolute nonsense. Like the bird interpretation where some say the Apple logo on the invitation looks like a bird, with a beak, wing and everything

"Wish we could say more" can merely mean that Apple wishes to say more on the invitation but don't want to because they want people to actually watch the keynote. Or it can mean that the keynote will be about the iPhone 6 only.

Whatever it is, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean anything, people should stop over-analyzing. It's just an invitation.

wish we could SAY more…

1) person talking to a watch: Hey Siri, what time it is? nah, won't happen.

2) being able to answer phone calls with a computer in Yosemite? yep.

3) Unlimited knowledge data center for Siri? Maybe

Agreed! Its just an invitation - no secret 'iWatch' references nor iPhone 6 references whatsoever....!!!!

The iPhone 5S event was streamed, I remember watching it here in the UK.

Maybe I got confused with the iPad Air event.
I remember that one of the two events last fall wasn't streamed live, but was made available later on the Apple TV and on the website.

Here's my interpretation of the invite.

The reason the Apple logo is zoomed in is because that's the perspective from the current iPhone 5, 5S. When you get a new iPhone 6 whatever at 5.5 inches, you'll be able to see the whole logo. Wish we could say more is simply that after announcement you literally will have more, more screen real estate.

There are other hidden messages in there, but I thought this would be my unique contribution.

No no, that too was also streamed live.....I had it playing to my car stereo on my drive home and then fired up the live stream on my ATV when I got in! I actually usually find the streaming quality is pretty low quality

It's possible, the only reason i remember that event so well, was because i was watching with keen interest to get the 5S, because i had sold my crappy Galaxy S4 and wanted a new iPhone.lol.

ik this is an apple forum, but i needed to tell spread this completely stupid news... Nintendo has announced a New 3DS called the New 3DS. It has another analog stick above the abyx buttons that's like 1/2 the size of the buttons. It has a faster processor that improves some stuff. The cartridge port is on the bottom, the 3d is improved, and there are new back trigger buttons, and NFC (apple, take notes on the fact that a 3ds has NFC and you dont...). Also some games are exclusive to that system because of the processor.

I'm completely mind-boggled by nintendo's decision making skills... like why they are calling it the New 3DS and why they added a puny analog stick in a horrible location, and why some games are exclusive to it.

Also, if you don't believe me on any of this, here's the article on Forbes:

The tagline is probably a piece of an old saying, - Wish We Could Say More. "But Only Time Will Tell." ;)
