That’s partisan nonsense. Obama did sign large, bipartisan immigration enforcement funding increases in budget bills. He basically supported whatever Republicans wanted at the border.

The ACA has undoubtedly been an improvement over the previous system. Slowing cost increases, increasing coverage, protecting people with preexisting conditions, and insuring millions. Is it flawed? Of course. Health insurance is a useless middle man. Capitalism can’t work in the healthcare system where there isn’t meaningful competition. But you still have to take the first step away from the failed status quo.

He’s still the most popular politician in this country and among the most popular former presidents in our history.

Debt isn’t caused by spending. It’s caused by the difference between spending and revenue. The biggest drivers of debt in the US are the unfunded Bush and 45 tax cuts.
