Israel has the best tech in the world, well done apple

I’d rather state that “some of the best tech in the world has originated in Israel” but it is by no means the only source of the best tech in 2026.

M/A series silicon for example has nothing to do with Israel.

Yesterday was the TACO Monday...and now, it is happening on Mondays, not on Tuesdays as usual. It will be TACO everyday in the future until the end of term. 🙂

War isn’t pretty and war isn’t nice. And when one side are cowards, as you say, starts to play dirty with its own citizens, it gets ugly.

But sure this tit for tat of attempting to neutralize a posts value will go nowhere.
Those who throw stones (bombs) from far away are COWARDS!
And, it's pretty hard to name those who mass-murder innocent kids by throwing bombs from far away. Only 8 children were killed (murdered) in the 9/11 in the US, but the Americans have forgotten that, how terrible to lose one's children. You cannot print them in the US Treasury, can you?

It's amazing how people completely absolve Islamic fundamentalist leadership when they build military installations within civilian infrastructure -- like schools -- and then viciously attack another country and commit mass murder just hoping that other country will respond by dropping bombs on their military installations. Crazy strategy but it wins points among many wacky leftists.

Absolutely. Those governments then shouldn’t initiate aggressive action, build war centers in schools and use children as flak jackets. Should they?

And war does consist of both long range and short range interactions.

It is amazing how people claim Iran is this great evil regime (which I am not denying that it is, my point is that both Iran and Israel are horrible regimes), but completely absolve the Israeli Regime. Israel specifically gets away with it due to the Zionist Evangelicals having great sway over American politics. The Evangelical Zionists are desperate to maintain control over the narrative, but the younger generations aren't fooled by it anymore.

Israel is the only country that I have heard of that wants you to "pray" for them as they bomb innocent children, Christians, and others. All this money that we send to them has gone to murder, and more murder.

There was a man called Hitler, and after the war a movement in Europe sought to shift the remaining Jewish population to the Middle East; less than three years after the Second World War there was a mass exodus to the newly formed state of Israel, with the tacit approval of the countries where they had previously lived. In fact, those countries made it difficult for Jews to remain during the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s. Many European societies still hold that mindset, even if their leaders do not say so aloud.

By the way, I don't think the United States ever had a Jewish president at any point in its history.
You have been misinformed.

For one thing, Jews have lived in Israel since at least the 1800's and throughout the 20th century. This was well documented in numerous reports which the British created during the Mandate period. And throughout the Mandate period, it was the policy of Britain to create a Jewish state and an Arab state. The same thing happened with Yugoslavia; it was divided into several separate countries after the fall of communism. This is not a uniquely Israel condition.

For another thing, HALF OF ISRAEL'S JEWS ARE NOT WHITE PEOPLE. They are Sephardic, from Africa and the Mideast. Most are in Israel because they were forcibly expelled from the 22 Arab nations... the ones which actually, literally, practice apartheid. Why does that apartheid not matter?

The 22 Arab nations, in total, are well over 90% Muslim, while Israel is 74% Jewish. It is the Arab nations who practice apartheid. This is fact. Israel has an Arab population of over 20%.

Are the 90+% Muslim populations, caused by forced expulsion policies, ok with you, while Israel's 74% Jewish population not ok with you?

Can you tell us what military tactics Israel could have used to remove Hamas from power which would not result in civilian casualties, especially since every Gazan combatant in that conflict was categorized "civilian"?

Leave that land and go live in the US... 😉
Are you for peace?
Do you think there is a peaceful version where Israel just packs its bags and 7 million people leave the Mideast and move to the United States? Because I think what you are proposing is a "war plan" and not a "peace plan." No other country would ever agree to stop existing.

When Israel retaliated against Hamas, they did not declare that Gaza must cease to exist. When they went to war with Iran, they did not declare that Iran cannot exist. But you declare that Israel cannot exist. It sounds as though you want war to continue indefinitely.

You got enough land to pack 7 million people. You can have the Jewish problem forever!

And there it is ... no sovereignty rights permitted for Jews to live in their ancestral homeland and, in fact, no such rights for those Jews who have lived their continuously since 1,500 BCE.

Such a strange argument. Haven't heard people advocating that the Japanese should get out of Japan and go live in US. Chinese ... same. Iranians out of Iran. Jordanians no such rights either because they are too new ... 1946.

I used to think that the mind worm of anti Semiticism was mostly kept alive by Islamic fundamentalists and their sympathizers. But, alas, over the last few years I have come to realize that the inventors of their own brand of Jew hatred, the Europeans, continue to perpetuate their contributions as well.

There you are! Nobody wants them. Not even you. You have enough land, but you don't want to take them. Europe will not take any back either. Before 1945, there were less than 500,000 Jews were living in what's now Israel. Before World War II, approximately 9.5 million Jews lived in Europe. No Jew wanted to go to what's now Israel to live before 1945, They liked to live in Europe.

Clara -- So nice that you want to engage but I would recommend that you level your criticisms based on facts rather than blame American Jews for every problem you seem to perceive with American politics. There are many groups that lobby the US government ... but I presume you want to abolish all of them (along with the First Amendment) rather than just Jewish groups. I could be wrong.

As for murdering civilians, I highly doubt Ali Khamenei and Yahya Sinwar would agree with your position. In fact, I know they would not. Comparing the US and Israel with those types of regimes is so off base and radical, it hardly warrants a response. Why promote countries with long established histories of atrocities against their own population over countries grounded in western civilization's commitment to individual freedom and human rights?

Huh? A textbook strawman argument combined with a heathly dose of hatred. Just for clarity, I said exactly none of that -- nor do I believe any of it. Please do not put words in my mouth.

I indeed, want to abolish all lobbies within the government. Not just AIPAC. All of them. Foreigners don't deserve a say in our politics. There needs to be an amendment that explicitly bans lobbying on behalf of foreign governments. If your (not you, just in general) loyalty is to another country's cause, then you should move there, you should not serve any kind of office in that case.

There is a right to gather, and a right to free speech, but the US should not be the piggy bank for other people's wars. We shouldn't be giving free handouts anymore, not to anyone. The problem is, both sides of the aisle are backed by foreigners (Republicans like Israel, Democrats like illegal aliens).

You are correct that the Muhammadist regimes are murderous, on that we are agreed. I don't have the position to where I promote them.

Some people get whipped up by "sides" in all this. Allow me to clarify my position - I am against all "sides", and see them all for what they are - murderers wrapped in theocratic robes.

I am against them all (including Israel), none of them deserve our support, money, or backing. Let them fight it out in the sand. None of them are worth it. Our money and time should be spent building up our own country instead of someone else's.

So nuclear war in the Middle East is okay with you? Because that is partly what this is about?

Israel is the only country in the Middle East that has Nuclear Weapons. Iran does not possess them. We struck Iran in 2025. Going back in again this year is an admission of failure, and this has been a common trope for the last 40 years - "Iran is weeks away from a Nuclear Weapon! Ahhh! Send another billion to Israel!!!"

I wouldn't mind taking an anti-Nuclear approach to the whole of the Middle East however, it would be for the best that Israel gives up their nuclear weapons as well.

Correct. Iran was again in its way toward a nuclear arsenal. I don’t care if we failed in 2025, if it’s necessary to backtrack we should do it.

And yeah, send another billion to Israel. I’ll vote for it.
