btw, do you people really think Apple only just now fixed the issue with the white iphone? My guess is they have had it fixed for months and they figured a way to capitalized on profits by stretching the hell out of the iphone4.

Here we go again, all the isheep coming out in flocks to bash someone who posts the very obvious. For once in your life, put on your thinking caps. iSheep like to bash how there are so many new Android devices being released so often. First off it's not as often as the iSheep like to say it is. But lets let the iSheep have their way. So let's say there is a new Android device every 3 months. To that I say, who gives a shlt? Why would you bash "more choice?" iSheep buy a new iPhone because it's a different color. What?!?!?! That's right. A new color!!!! WOW!!! And then, you turn around and make fun of someone for upgrading to an new Android device. And not the same Android device with a different color, but a whole new different upgraded Android device. Do you ever say, it's their money, let them spend it how they like? Of course not. That can only be said when you change your black iPhone for a white iPhone. How dumb for anyone to upgrade to a device that they feel outperforms their current device. Because we all know, a new color of the same phone is so much better of a reason to buy a new phone. Are you starting to see why you're called iSheep? Good grief. Hope that didn't go over your head. Whooosh! Too late.

OP some of us don't just flip burgers at a local joint and do actually have decent jobs. A brand new iphone at full price is actually a day's salary for some of us here.

I'll point out the obvious (again) that the OP has some serious white iPhone envy - probably saw his best friend texing to the girl he likes on a brand new white one or something. Seriously - get over it - and before anyone says anything else, the people who don't give a crap are not posting threads like this. They truly don't care and are probably happy that others are buying white ones and less people are using black ones.

On a side note - no, not everyone has money to burn on new things all the time. I actually sold my 32gb black iphone for $600 and bought a brand new white 32gb for $575 - so there you go 🙂

I'm doing this for when the new iPhone comes out for sure, here in the UK I feel contract prices are ridiculous for the iPhone (all other contracts are pretty good), anyway advantages for me doing this are:

1. Sim-free phone
2. Not being locked into a 24 month contract
3. Cheaper overall if I use my current monthly sim (£10 for 200 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited internet)

Think about it. Iphone 4 released last summer, 6 months later vzw iphone 4 comes out, and now a couple months later the white iphone. I find it funny apple has capitalized so much by the timing of their releases. And i laugh at the people clamoring for a white iphone as honestly its just a novelty imho, all you people buying one tomorrow are pretty dumb for pushing your upgrade further back by taking part in apples game. BTW, i am not an apple basher or hater as i have a mbp, and iphone4.

Remember the South Park Episode on Mormons, anytime Joseph Smith said something stupid and the people believed him there was a song in the background going "dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb", that is what i hear right now for you all.

I agree 100%. If you didn't already have an iPhone then I can understand being excited about the white one. But if you already had a black one then you shouldn't care that much, and definitely not go buy a white one for ful price. It's still the same phone

My first ATT phone was a 3GS about 2 years ago. I got one for the wife too. Now ATT wants to try to lure me to stay with them. Fine by me. I accepted the white iphone 4. It will be here next week.

My wife isn't doing the same. She doesn't like the iphone so much as she is a business blackberry type mostly. She only wanted the iphone as she thought she might lose her job in a corporate purge. Didn't happen thankfully.


I get my iphones free just for paying my bill on time for two years. The benefits of a decent payment history are self evident!
