This is a nice promo, although an iPod touch 6th gen for the same price for free would be a thousand times better. Including something with an iPad or iPhone purchase would have been nice, but they are probably trying to make up for the price of this promo by excluding them and starting the offer later than usual.
It would still be a better device for free, which is my point.
It's supposed to a promotion, as in something to stir interest in a purchase. It fails in that regard for a lot of people.
My goodness. What is it with this generation and the "this FREE item isn't good enough" attitude towards everything.
Yes, obviously my opinions are my opinions. Anything else you want to waste my time with?Your point is subjective.
When did I EVER mention that I was "Mad"? I suggested that many students/faculty held off on buying applecare for their $1000+ machine, because they had to pay $200 for the "free" iPod upfront back in the day. Its smart on Apples part to give these away, without anyone even apple having to deal with rebate checks..For AppleCare? You mean were mad at students for not paying extra money for an extended warranty? Students are certainly not going to be doing that.
She's the one that relays all the retail information to the employees. Assuming that because she tells her staff about the promotions means that she is responsible for deciding them is quite a leap.
So free crappy headphones?
Remember when we got gift cards? Or iPod Touches?
This is ridiculous. They only thing they'd be useful for is putting on eBay.

That was allot of typing for just wanting to say, "you get what you pay for"!
It takes a special kind of person to complain about something being given to them.
Like I said to another poster, if she doesn't have the metal to tell him its a ******** deal and explain why then she is not fit for the position. Retail is her baby. Maybe she doesn't care enough.
you must not be a current college student. they already are...I can see it now. College campuses covered with people wearing beats headphones. Count on it.
They will regret doing this. Wonder what brainiac at Apple came up with this lame brain idea. I'm told Beats headphones are the worst sounding cans on the market. Why would anyone be attracted to this dud deal?

Again, this is something you're being given FOR FREE. The horror of having to lug these out of the Apple store and sell them on Amazon, eBay, or regift them.
How are headphones "bloatware?"
I'm curious if they will do that? Or if you'll have to return and re-buy the computer?
You and me may not like Beats, but they are a huge seller and this is a very smart promotion.Sure, it's "free" with purchase. That doesn't mean it's anything to be happy about. They could have given out free onions or bedazzled socks, but that doesn't mean anyone should be happy about it.

Stupid question: 1 pair is 1 product or are 2 products? The left and right speakers are bond together, so that is why "a pair" only confuses me. Anyone too?
